I got my GCSE results on the 21st of August. My results are:

Geography: A*

RE: A

Maths: A

Art: B

Chemistry: A*

Biology: A

English literature: A

Citizenship: B

French: C

Overall I am pretty pleased with my results, apart from French but I did that a year early so I am not too bothered.

So Now its onto college. I have done my enrolement and i am going to be doing Art, Physics, Maths and Geography, though I may not be able to do geography so intead I might do a balecurettee which is liek an extension of another subject for one year and an AS level in critical thinking or citizenship.

They aren't even a Japanese company. Its all a ploy to keep you guys happy. Sony has ties with the US government.
Its all here to basically "train" its userbase up. The sudden rise in FPS games? Governments doing. Its basically their hidden agenda. Get gamers pumped and mentally trained, encouraging them to join the army. You see in a few years time, the world will be a very different place. War wont be exclusive to 3rd world countries like it is today. You will see a huge rise in rebel activity all over the world. Why are the oil prices rising? Sony.

The government actually wants a war to break out. The current situation was never going to last anyways. This way, war can break out, US have basically an army of "gamers" already trained to add into the fray, and this all so that they can benefit from the new formed war economy.

I thought I better blog it just incase I ever need it, or decide to use it in my sig again.

COD4 sniping by NinjaMunkey01

Whilst playing COD4 you have probably been sniped, you watch the killcam and think 'snipers have it easy, they are far back and get easy shots.' So I tried sniping to see if that was true. Far from it. And in a few hours of play I realised that its probably the hardest thing to do. this is what I learnt:

1. Choose your building wisely, obvious really. But some buildings have lots of cover, and good viewing angles. Some maps dont, and are usually the target of the other team.

2. Pick your shots: this is also obvious, but if you dont think you can kill someone in one shot, dont bother, every shot you make means you show on the radar, and if your shot misses/ does not kill that guy you shot at will be scanning for you, and if you are wildly shooting at him he will either shoot at you, or go toi the builing and hunt you down.

3. Use claymores: these are great, not only can they kill an enemy, more importantly, they tell you someone is coming towards you, and gives you time to prepare. Plant them at a safe distance from you. plus plant them whee thy are hard to notice, and in a place that will block as many ways in as possible.

4. learn the building, room you are sniping in. This is important, as if a grenade comes through the window, you need to know how to get away, fast. y|ou also need an escapoe rout, like a window so you can get away if loads of enemys are coming for you. Plus this means you can have a plan if an enemy get s to you. For example, I hid next to the door, so I could not be seen, then knived the enemys as they came in.

5. Use the knife/pistol. At close range the knife is amazing, so is the pistol. it is accurate and you can fire fast. Plus when someone at a low level gets hurt at close range, they panic, then killing them is all too easy.

6. watch out for other snipers: This is important, snipers make easy targets as they are usually stationary, plus you dont want to be sniped.

7. get a second primary gun. if you dont have overkill, steal another gun. An mp5 or P90 is good, as this is usefull at the incredibly close range fights you will have.

8. smoke grenades: These are very useful, put it at the door to your room, and it will bide you time to get ready for the enemy, escape through a window, or sneak past the opposition. A stun or flashbang is also good for sneaking past intruders.

9. dont snipe with guys with assalt rifles, they give your position away very easily.

one thing to remember. A sniper must be flexable. one moment you are fiering long range, the next you are shooting at short range. I believe that a sniper probably endures the shortes range battles online. More so than a guy with a sub machine gun.

I go0t COD4 a few weeks ago and I must say this is an amazing game! The graphics look great on a HD screen and the sounds are good. But the best thing is how immersive it is. I was very impressed by how ths story was told. most of the information you were told whilst you were playing and then other information was given to you in small videos during loading screens. This is a very good idea. I do not like it when you are told a story through cut scenes, I much rather being told whilst being in control of mycharacter as this adds to the immersion.

this is why this game is so much better than resistance, all the information was given to you in those rubbish little cutscenes. and I liked the bits in COD4 where you controled another character partially to see what happened to them.

also theres a great diversity in missions, which is great. once you have completed the game you feel that you have done a bit of everything. this also helps with online play as you are then already used to all the guns. Plus I like the way your person has to bend over to get the heavy sniper rifle off his back, and other small touches like this.

Online is great. the maps are well designed so there is always a choke point for battle, yet thee are still ways to flank the opposition. The guns are great (though I have not unlocked many a I have not been able to play much) and the fact you have 2 buttons for grenade throwing is an exellant idea.

anyone who wants a decent shooter should get this. It literally blows away the competition.

I just got warhawk this morning and it is so COOL! honestly halo 3 will have trouble competing with this! for starters the graphics look nicer than all the gameplay videos of halo, the vehicles drive well, the warhawks are fun, theres loads of customisation features, the 32 player online battles are huge and the guns are just right.

and the draw distances are great, you can make out a tank in a warhawk from one side to the other of a ma! and its chaotic. I was in a jeep when a warhawk came down on me hovering and started shooting and firing rockets at me, I drove as quickly as possible away with my team mate on the mounted gum firing like crazy. we thought we were dead when a tank came out of no where and ble the warhawk up! and once someone was being killed bya tank and I swooped in and nailed the thing with 4 rockets! Its so cool how one muinete you are safe then suddenly you are clining to stay alive, all thanks to the warhawks, it because of them you muct keep on your toes.

Im not saying you cant kill them an man with a rocket launcher or a jeep with a good shooter or a tcnk will kill it but a warhawk with a good pilot could easily come out of no where lock on to you with rockets and fire then swoop off leaving you with many rockets after you.

but luckily there are loads of turret guns to get into to provide you with cover and 2 tanks tochether could bretty much stand up to anything, especially when someone else is on the tank shooting from within the entrance. all in all it is a very balanced game, I thought it would just be a rush for the warhawks but its not, you can easily kill others without veicles with a knife so its all balanced. but really chaotic, dont expect to last more than 5 muinets before having to respawn with everyone fighting so hard its impossible, but even dying is fun (no Im not mad) because you comically get edjected out of your vehicle and go flying.I recommend this game to anyone who likes blowing things up and doing insane kills in extreme consitions!

man I shoul make this into a review. I give this a 9.2, cos its annoying when you are hitching a ride and the driver dosent dodge a missile in time, and its kinda embarrasing if you do that aswell and get 2 others killed.

I was already planing on getting warkawk but upon looking at some pictures on gamespot I was amazed when I saw 2 players on one scree, then further amazed to see 4! I checked online to see if this was true and it is!!!!!! I really cant wait for warhawk now (getting it this friday!) and I will have to get an extra controller with it! man I am really hyped for this game (much more than halo does that let 2 players ues one console for online play.... NNNOOOOO!!!! halo officialy sucks big time!!!!) not really halo is good. Counting the seconds till I get it I will have to do a review of this game its gonna be cool!

Today I looked at the lair review and was shocked! bad controls, bad targeting and loads more gamespot really hated this. which was weird as on thespot showed the game and it looked great! so I looked at the player reviews (which are usually better anyway as they are not biased like gamespot is) and they showed me that the game was good. and after reading those reviews I reasised that obviously the gamespot reviewer did not bother to learn the controls. as one player review said, the reviewer must have been pretty retarded to not be able to use the controls! I will never trust gamespots reviews properly again if the person reviewing cannot use a simple controller. I will get the game and when I write my own review it will add to the embarassement of gamespot for not being able to play a game. something they pride themselves in so much! I bet gamespot were paid to say that by MS or something to create such a rubbish and untrustworthy review. so never say that the game is rubbish as no one can accept gamespots reviews obviously and looking at the decent reviews I can confidently say that lair is a good game if you can be bothered to learn the controls. unlike some gamespot employees!!!!!!
