If you have seen the British show Touching Evil, you will know that it was a hard act to follow. Robson Green ( the original Creegan) seemed to be the only actor for the role but Jeffrey Donovan is great. I am pleasantly surprised that the show has the same feel as it's UK counterpart. I was afraid that the show would be a watered down version and although it does have the same intensity, it does lack the shock value of the original. I still say watch the original version(which is on region 1 DVD) and then watch this excellent remake.

I was instantly fascinated by this show. DI Creegen is a man who actually died from a gunshot to the head during a police raid but was resuscitated and has now, after an extended leave, returned to the force. Dave Creegan is damaged, not the kind that is physical (although he sports a scar on his forehead), but one of the psyche. He is not the same man as before the shooting. He has lost his family and his sense of himself. These episodes are dark and often brutal. I love British TV because they can get away with things American TV censors would cut it to unrecognizable bits. This show is not for the faint of heart; it can be horrific at times but having said that, it is mesmerizing too. This is a complex show and is very well done.

I am new to British TV but I continue to be amazed at the quality(if not quantity) of their series'. Wire in the blood is one of the best shows I have ever seen. Robson Green as Tony is just off center enough to be eccentric but likeable. He gets fed information and then mulls it over in his mind until it takes shape. His behavior may seem odd, even slightly crazy, but Tony is just working things out in his own way. What I like most is how vulnerable Tony seems. He is not savvy or particularly social; his brilliance actually hinders him. This show is amazing and a must see for any mystery/ police drama fan.

You had me from hello! I haven't become a fan of a new show so fast since the X-Files. This show has it all, interesting stories, unusual locations, 2 great looking guys and a muscle car. I hope this show does not bog down in the whole mythology thing that ruined the X-files. If the writers keep it creepy and unpredictable, the show should have a long life. My only suggestion would be to keep the personal jeoparty factor low. If the guys keep getting kidnapped and or hurt, this show could get boring very fast. So far so good.

I liked this show because it was genuine and has a message. Starsky and Hutch show a more human side and go so far actually side step the law for the greater good.When Starsky slaps the rookie officer for using the "N" word, he hits so hard the viewer feels it.
