I think that this episode was mostly funny.It had some good moments especially with alice looking for Papi. Alice seems to have developed a lot as a character and is always the most pleasant one to watch. I'm a Bette fan so i loved seeing Alpha coming back! Jenny is still annoying, Tina has to find her way back to being interesting,so as Shane, Max is really boring for me ,although he seems to get a rather interesting s/l with Brooke.. My first impressions on the new characters are divided..Papi seems like a caricature for me and Phyllis seems quite interesting.. I love CS so it is good to see her.
I think that the best is yet to come!

The L word is a decent show, quite provocative and influential , showing the lives of a group of lesbians in L.A.
The storylines are interesting,the direction is good,the actresses are gorgeous - most of them.I don't think that a viewer can ask for more ,especially since it's the first time a show like this is released on TV. It's a classic drama show with comic elements , some times it lacks originality,some times it is sooo original. It creates a good feeling most of the times,especially in the first 2 seasons.The third one was the weakest of all, the writers should be a bit more cautious in s4 so it won't jump the shark. It would be a pity since it started so well.
I do hope s4 will be as good as the 2 first, and i hope that my fav character, Bette , will suffer a little less.. Nothing good happens to that woman??

I think this has been an exceptionally good episode after some average ones. Bette and Tina had that -much anticipated - intimate encounter, which to be absolutely frank i consider to be one of the best sex scenes in a tv show ever. Absolutely lovely and hot ! The directors just don't have to try hard, Bette is all they need on the scene.. :wink:
Of course the fact that Tina oscillates between her real desire and the life she chooses rationally to live leads her to a funny but bizarre sexual attack to Helena, who just can't handle Tina's impulsiveness and demands and thankfully leaves. I can't stand that woman but i must admit Tina has definately something for "dominant" partners.

Although i don't like Mark's storyline this season , it had a great impact on Jenny's mental and phychological status. The truth is revealed so there opens the road for Jenny to be even more eccentric and "dark".

Alice and Dana remain the funny side of L word.Their problems seem to involve their amusement and how to broaden their sexual experiences and horizons so their scenes are cute and funny.

It was an interesting and intriguing episode in general, one of the L word best IMO.

Thankfully no one not only in America,but in Europe as well. Beals is still remembered for her role in that highly succesful and classic film , however she seems to be rather more talented than we have already seen..or thought.
She has been in a number of independent and underrated films in which she was quite good, and always seems to stand out with her presence.
Ok ,she is talented,no doubt; But i guess that it is the combination of her charm and appeal that makes her special really. She is beautiful , classy , a woman with charisma and style . She is probably one of those lucky women who become more and more beautiful as they grow older.
In L word she is great, portraying that woman that sees her life going from bad to worse ( i still wonder when was the last time we saw Bette having some really good news!). Perhaps it's because she is quite good in dramatic scenes; she has that kind of melancholy in her face that makes her ideal for drama. I absolutely loved the scene where she smashed her car and then started shouting at the guy she hit!!
With the L word she is back, hotter than ever ..
I do hope that we shall see much more of her in the future, in interesting and challenging roles.
