Doctor Who (2005) The Stolen Earth (1) Avg Score: 9.62 Total Ratings: 310 Total Reviews: 45 Users who agree: 3 |
I must commend the vision of Davies for creating this awesome penultimate chapter for this series. This episode gave me everything: thrills, chills, belly laughs, shocking revelations and a cliffhanger to beat the band. I can only imagine the finale blowing this one out of the water. The crossover of Sarah Jane Smith and Torchwood to the flagship made this epic finale feel all the more epic. The scale of this episode is phenomenal. My only concern is the final scene with the last second regeneration, I hope that what I'm thinking will happen will not... if so, then they may have to change the rating scale from ten to twenty. I cannot wait for the Journey's End... the question is, who's journey?

Battlestar Galactica (2003) Revelations Avg Score: 9.53 Total Ratings: 495 Total Reviews: 34 Users who agree: 3 Users who disagree: 4 |
Holy crap the final scene completely made me so happy. I had always wondered what direction they would go with that.(spoiler-free) I have loved they way they have handled every character since the beginning of this new season and Aright now I am pleased as punch with this cliffhanger. One of the greatest moments in the series was the scene with Lee and Bill Adama when Lee is consoling his father... marvelous. One thing that does disappoint me is the Caprica Six-Tigh affair going on, and I'm interested to see if they do something about that by the end.... whenever that may be. There were some great reveals with the reveals of four of the final five. With the way this episode ended I wonder what the importance of the final cylon. Not full of action like the last episode, but still incredibly done. The wait for the last ten episodes is going to be as bad as the wait for LOST's next season. Spectacular.

Man, Drive has started with a bang, quite the series. I have to say I was skeptical, seriously it's FOX; I have faith in Nathan Fillion, he'll make this series good...he's got enough charisma to carry the show (no matter how long it lasts) Speaking of, how about the twist in this episode, Tully is a wheel-man...with a dark past. Starting with the twists quick,I love it. I had to clean my shorts when I saw that Challenger, oh boy, that car was so sweet. I have to say I'm hooked...and man, I can't wait for the next episode.

Hiros is another great episode of this new series. I cannot wait to see what happens next...There was alot of new revelations, and plenty more questions that will make alot of people rub their heads:
Is Peter able to do more than just fly (will other people develop new abilities)?
Who is the 'glasses-wearing man's mystery accomplice?
Now that D.L. has entered the picture, what does that mean for the rest of the heroes?
Did Nathan do a sonic boom?
What is Ando's role?
Who is this mysterious Mr. Lindermann?
Does Mika have powers (seeing how he has two special parents)?
Hopefully all of that will be answered...in the coming weeks.

Lost Further Instructions Avg Score: 8.98 Total Ratings: 1282 Total Reviews: 130 |
I think it's safe to say that the third season of Lost has officially begun. Further Instructions is a perfect example of what we've come to expect from Lost. The story arc involving Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Jin, Sun, and Sayid has been a bit lackluster. I am a diehard fan and I was a bit disappointed. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire episode. I cannot wait for Locke to get his hands dirty, and so I am I seeing this right...Desmond, a psychic. This is a great episode. This one is already one of my favorites.
