    The Bottom Line: "Great"

It may not have been as great as the previous one, but this episode was still okay. There's nothing bad I can say about the show. There are a few glitches, but I guess it's in a good state now. We actually got to see Devon and Roxanne again. I wish Roxanne had a bigger role, but it seems that either Tatyana Ali isn't available or that the writers just con't care much about her character. Karen and Neil were okay too.

The Restless Style stuff was okay, but nothing special. The best part of the episode was Billy, and the funniest was when Cane happily hugged his brother. I wish Billy would slap him and tell him to become a man. Jill was also great. Everything else was meh. I guess it was okay.

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

Wow. What a great and emotionally filled episode. Every now and then, Y&R manages to deliver a great episode. The main reason was the conversation Esther and Chloe shares. A classic character sharing a scene with a new one (okay, now old) and talking about their emotions with so much history... just wow. Then the other great part was when Kevin was trying to extract info from Katherine. It was hilarious when Kay asked Kevin if he was hitting on her.

I seem to tolerate Lily more when she isn't around Cane. Today Lily quit and I was quite happy. Hopefully they'll keep them apart for a long time. Funny thing about Colleen getting a job offer from Cane. I hope it raises a lot of commotion. Another amazing part were the Abbotts. It was so great to see them all together. I can't wait until Ashley returns to Genoa City full time. It was also great to see John. I still wish they hadn't killed him off. And at the end Jill and Billy reunited. I can't wait to see their scene in the next episode.

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

    Great, great AWESOME episode!

Loved it on so many levels.

Don getting chased around and being in danger...gotta love it! :)

And Ian...that SUPREME eye candy. ;) Gotta say...if that man were on this show more than a few times a season...my boys' slots and #1 and #2 hunk might be in question. :)

As it stands, Robin is growing on me even more, and I liked Amita being supportive, but not pushy. And Larry...priceless..."I know...how to get it done." LOL! You bad boy--been in the spy business too long! :)

Glad Charlie's going to fight for his clearance. Of course, we knew he would, but still...nice to see Don supporting him.

And then the ending...ALL of the important characters except David/Colby in happy family scenes. Even Ian! (gah--in love with Lou Diamond Phillips!--sorry--back to the review)

    Can't wait for next week!!!

    Stairing Contest

So Baxter now has the ability to get anywhere in the house. Thursday night we coaxed him to get up the stairs, as he was already hurtling himself to get to around the third step before falling down. Of course, we then thought, "what have we done?," as he could get pretty much anywhere then. Still, he'd likely have it on his own in a week's time anyway. The kicker was he could not get down the stairs yet. On Saturday, armed with some training treats, I went ahead and got him the confidence to do that as well. Now he can bother us wherever we are, but at least we never have to carry him up and down the stairs anymore, either. Baxter also added a new experience to his résumé this weekend. New girl takes him Sunday mornings to the nursing home where she volunteers, and yesterday he was being held by a patient with a pemanent tracheotomy and licked inside his neck hole!

I've really neglected The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion this past week and would like to race and wrap up the main story, which will give me the full 1000/1000 achievement points. I may tackle a new game before going back and doing the Shivering Isles expansion, just to take a break. Meanwhile, I've really gotten back into GTA IV online play, and am now only around $90,000 from advancing to level 7. The online games are as busy as ever, and found playing around 7:00 Friday nights here on the East Coast almost always yields full games of 16 competitors, I'm guessing because at that time people in Europe are still up, while almost all of young America is home from school and most adults from work. Also, people are still as immature as ever, including me.

That's all for today. Thanks for reading, everybody!

    Bored already and useless facts!

Well I'm back at uni and already I'm finding myself sat in the library with nothing to do but amuse myself with some useless information! So here are some more of my useless facts! You never know they might come in handy one day.

    1. "Canada" is an Indian word meaning "Big Village".

    2. "Forty" is the only number which has its letters in alphabetical order.

    3. 1 kg of lemons contain more sugar than 1 kg of strawberries.

    4. 259200 people die every day.

    5. 90% of bird species are monogamous; only 3% of animals are.

    6. A chimpanzee can learn to recognize itself in a mirror, but monkeys can't.

    7. A McDonald's straw will hold 7.7 ml, or just over one-and-a-half teaspoons of whatever you are drinking.

    8. A person uses approximently fifty-seven sheets of toilet paper each day.

    9. About 10,000,000 people have the same birthday as you.

    10. According to statistics, Australian women are the most likely to have sex on the first date.

    A Helping Hand

Morning people! Not much to talk about in my personal life today so just a quick round up, I'm sure there's other stuff you're more interested in today...

So it was a pretty uneventful weekend this week, I was just pleased to get the working week over with for a bit although this week is so busy it's unbelievable. I think I overdid tennis this week, from last Saturday to this Saturday I played on 7 different occasions and on Saturday I was just so knackered when I was playing. It's been a long time since I've felt glad to finish playing. I also think I've picked up my first tennis injury, I have a really bad hand/finger at the minute which I think I did on Tuesday. It just hurts when I play and now when I type. I've done more typing this weekend than I normally would and my left hand is suffering at the minute.

In gaming I'm nearing completion of Assassin's Creed. I've taken down the full 9 targets and have completed all the side missions so it's really just a case of wrapping up the game now. Plenty of cut scenes to go through I've noticed. I'm also close to getting the most achievement points I've managed for one game, I'm yet to hit 700 but I fear I might be 5 points short. I have hit 7000 total gamer points exactly which is nice.

To the main part of my blog I guess is my tv.com news. As most of you are well aware now I became a site mod on Friday. It's been a long wait since I was first asked thanks to the redesign but it was certainly worth it! There's a hell of a lot to read up on, now I really do have to know the ToS inside out which I've never really bothered with before. Plus I need to play catch up with the other mods learning who to look out for and how the moderation process works. My only concern really is that I do things differently to how they currently do it. I knew there was a lot involved in being a mod but there's more than I could've imagined that we can do. Thanks to everyone who has already congratulated me, it's much appreciated. I'd like to mention here as well that for those of you who don't know more_ncis_now is also a new site mod so go congratulate her as well! We'll officially be added into the 'Here to Help' section in a week or so, but starting now if anyone has any problems regarding moderations (or anything in general) do come to me! I'll be able to help one way or another so don't hesitate to send me a PM.

I also guess that now my submitting days are going to be more limited in numbers, I haven't had too much to moderate yet so maybe I'll still be able to submit plenty. I'm pretty relieved though to have a new focus on the site, finding subs to continue submitting for a year and a half is pretty tiresome. I've made over 58,000 subs so a change was well overdue in my eyes. It also means I don't have to worry about holding onto the third place spot on the site. I know I've never needed to worry about it but as submitting was all I had I thought I might as well try to be as good as I can. I'd still like to hit level 90 and reach 60k subs but I guess that'll take a bit longer now, I'll be content for the time being to just look after my current guides rather than focusing on getting new ones.

As for TV, I didn't manage to watch all the new airing episodes this week as there's just so many now! First up I watched Dirty Sexy Money 'The Birthday Present' which I thought was good. The show has just picked up right from where it finished which is no bad thing. Next up was Heroes 'One Of Us, One Of Them' which was another great instalment! I still really don't like Niki/Tracey, not really sure why though. I also saw Criminal Minds 'The Angel Maker' which saw a return to the regular episode set up. It was a good episode, I like a good back story behind the case and I'm glad to see that Hotch saw sense in the end. After finishing season 2 of Ugly Betty the other day I was able to begin on season 3. I watched 'The Manhattan Project' and it was like I'd never been away...maybe because I hadn't! Not sure about the new magazine set up but I do like the way the show is progressing.

My album for the day is One Of The Boys by Katy Perry.

My shuffle song for the day is 'Ruby' by The Kaiser Chiefs.

My thing to ponder for today is: Why don't woodpeckers get headaches when they slam their head on a tree all day?
