Prison Break Hell or High Water Avg Score: 9.49 Total Ratings: 609 Total Reviews: 67 Users who disagree: 1 |
The escape itself was quite ridiculous and unrealistic. The officers are either really blind or just plain dumb. How could they not see Michael hiding under that high truck? I thought this episode was going to be a letdown following two awesome episodes. However things picked and had that edge of your seat excitement once the gang escaped. It reminded me a lot of last season. My favorite part was the guys being rescued by the little kid's father and Gretchen being fooled by the recorded gunshot. Linc wanting revenge on Mahone made me cringe, but luckily he couldn't shoot him. I can't believe next week is it for this season. I certainly hope it will get renewed.

Airwolf Flight #093 Is Missing Avg Score: 8.46 Total Ratings: 29 Total Reviews: 2 |
Airwolf was my favorite show as a kid and I was eager to rewatch this specific episode as it was my favorite. Flight #093 seemed so surreal to me back then. I remembered as an eight year old kid, putting a mike near the speaker of our TV and recording this particular episode on audio-cassette (we didn't have a VCR). However, upon seeing Flight 93 for the first time in twenty-some years, I was shocked at the cheesy quality of it. All I basically saw was bad directing, terrible overacting, bad dialogue, bad humor, and an ending we've seen a thousand times. To see the stranded passengers celebrate like drunken sailors when they haven't even been rescued yet was ridiculous. I should have known when I saw Bernard Kowalski's credits coming up. He's the same guy who directed several terrible episodes of Knight Rider. To me, almost all the Airwolf episodes are unwatchable today, but this is bad even by their low standards.

Perfect Strangers Dog Gone Blues Avg Score: 8.54 Total Ratings: 16 Total Reviews: 1 |
I remembered watching this episode almost exactly 20 years ago. I was nine years old and it made me cry. I felt embarrassed, especially in front of my parents. Today, I'm 29 and just recently watched this episode for first time since that time. And wouldn't you believe it, I still broke down at the end - maybe even more so than the first time around. The episode has a mixture of all-out hillarity and sadness. Belki, in euphoria, surprises Larry with a dog he brought from the animal shelter. But Larry, knowing the landlord stipulation against owning pets, objects at first. Larry, however, falls for the dog's friendliness and the cousins devise ways of not getting the dog noticed by Twinky. SPOILER
--------
But of course, Twinky finds out. Belki hides the dog just before he comes in. Twinky spots a bag of dog food. Larry claims it's his snack and starts munching on it to prove it. Then, he gives some to Belki. I was cracking up hard. Twinky later notices white dog hair. Belki claims his girlfriend was over last night and she's Swedish. Later, Twinky hears scratching noises. He eventually discovers the dog. Knowing it's time to move on, Larry finds a family who will adopt. But Belki who has developed a strong bond with the dog refuses to part ways. The adopting family arrives and Belki knows he has no choice and sadly accepts. The ending was very well done and emotional.

Perfect Strangers The Rent Strike Avg Score: 7.98 Total Ratings: 13 Total Reviews: 1 |
I normally like watching this show, but this has got to be the worst Perfect Strangers episode I've seen in season one and two. I normally laugh out loud at Perfect Strangers, but I found little to laugh at in "The Rent Strike". Larry and Balki find themselves out of hot water, then heat, and then electricity. Jennifer is out of hot water at her apt as well. Other tenants have issues as well. They all decide to perform a strike until Twinky gets everything fixed. Twinky caves in and everything is back to normal. Basically that's how the story goes.

Prison Break Sona Avg Score: 8.92 Total Ratings: 1207 Total Reviews: 145 Users who disagree: 1 |
I never thought I would have to write a less than stellar review on my favorite show, but PB is starting to dissapoint me. The show is really started to drag. PB
should have ended this season. While season one had a definite direction, season two ran around in circles. Some characters whom were entertaining to watch in S1 was a waste of time in S2 - anything involving T-bag, Bellick, or C-note. I think a presidential pardon would have made a good ending.
Some scenes have become awfully redundant. How many
times have we thought that Mike and Linc were finally scot-free only to have someone on their tail again? PB is really starting to stretch the bounds of credibility. How many times have we seen people like Sara, C-note, or Bellick gotten arrested and then released. And ss several have already mentioned the travel time is totally unrealistic. How did Kim and Sara get to Panama so fast from Chicago? Why don't the cons wear disguises?
I did watch every episode this season and for the most part enjoyed them. But at the season's end, I felt letdown. The bros basically got nowhere in S2. They spent a significant chunk of season two uncovering and chasing after DB Cooper's money, only to see it dissappear in the ocean. They spent a large amount of time running from authorities, only for Michael to be caught and put back into prison.
Don't get me wrong, I still love the show and will be watching season 3. But I'm just dissapointed in the lack of resolution and progress. And I hope season 3 is not an entire season spent of trying to break out of prison again.
S1 - 10/10
S2 - 8/10
