    my story:
I like to go to the movies, spend time with family and friends... I’m obsessed with Music, Movies, Photography. My Favorite Music is whatever has good lyrics and a great beat. Right now I'm very hooked on John Mayer, Maná, Jack Johnson, Belanova, Joss Stone, Julieta Venegas and, last but not least, Retroaudio. Of course I can't leave out the oldies: late 80's and early 90's music is the best. My Favorite TV Shows: The best ever: "Friends". The best new one: "Heroes" This show is addictive, it makes your head hurt after thinking too much about its possibilities, and it hurts even more when it takes breaks during the season. But I love it!!! Others: "Gilmore Girls", "Smallville", "Jerico", "CSI: Miami", "24", "So You Think You Can Dance", "I Love Lucy", "Bewitched", "Project Runway", "Roswell". My Favorite Movies: It's difficult to chose only a few. I enjoy drama as well as comedy and even a little action, but over the past year I've discovered the art of independent movies and I really love them especially the ones from Pedro Almodovar and Alejandro González Iñárritu. "Talk to her" and "Amores Perros" are one of the top ones. A recent favorite is "Pan's Labirynth" by Guillermo del Toro. It was really, really, really good.

Quotes from TV Shows and Movies(Some quotes I've liked in no particular order) Little Black Book (2004) "Life happens when you're busy making other plans." -Bean (Quote from John Lennon) Hero (2002) "Men in general judge more by the sense of sight than by the sense of touch, because everyone can see, but only a few can test by feeling. Everyone sees what you seem to be, few know what you really are, and those few do not dare take a stand against the general opinion." -Niccolo Machiavelli: from The Prince and The Discourses Gilmore Girls (2006)Season 6 - Episode 16"Bridesmaids Revisited" -Paris: Men suck. -Rory: They do suck. -Paris: You can't count on them. They never have your back. -Rory: No, they don't. -Paris: They make you love them and... Read more »

    • We crash into each other, just so we can feel something.

NOTE: This is a Film Review that I wrote as a course assignment for my English course a year and a half ago. I saw the film Crash just a few days before I was told I had to see it for a course assignment because I decided to see as many Oscar-nominated films from 2006 as I could, before the awards took place. I had the misconception that Oscar-nominated films were always boring and just not cool, but this movie has proved me wrong in a way I never imagined. In the first minute of the movie Don Cheadle's character Graham says: "…You brush past people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches you. We're always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something." That last phrase got to me, it... Read more »

    • The Pursuit of Happiness

"The Pursuit of Happiness"   I just watched the movie "The Pursuit of Happiness" starting Will Smith and I have to say it really got me thinking. The main message of the movie is the endless human persecution of this thing we call happiness. The truth is we get so lost in the way trying at all costs to achieve happiness that we rarely even catch it. It can be right in front of us and we wouldn't even notice. The good thing about the movie is that it's based on a true story and it feels very real, at least to me. I don't want to spoil the details for the people who still haven't seen it, but I have to acknowledge something. This man's strength and determination was the key to his success. His attitude was the best attitude I've seen in a human being. He just... Read more »
