I was pretty hard on this show after the first few episodes, but I have re-thought my position. Just as Louis C.K.'s stand-up has always been off the beaten path, so has his brainchild, "Lucky Louie." That being said, I still feel that some of the earlier episodes could have been better. This episode, however, is in my opinion the finest work of this show yet.

From the first fight with Lucy, all the way to the end of the show, the viewers quickly realize Louie is right. The kid is, indeed, a "f**ing a**hole." The thing I found curious is that Kim seems entirely resistant to discipline of any kind. Even though Louie is ineffectual, at least he tries, going as far as asking Walter and Ellen(their neighbors) for some advice. Walter suggests timeouts, but his reaction to Louie's later question, "You put your kid in a closet? I can't help you," is priceless.

One of the things that I have come to appreciate about this show is that things are usually not tied up neatly at the end of each show. This is very realistic, because most of our life problems last longer than a couple of days. All in all, a very entertaining episode.

More character delopment than anything else in this episode. Not much action at all. The ash trade thing is very interesting as a concept, and it will be interesting to see what happens to Cain, the dealer.

The most intriguing aspect of this whole eppy to me was the escape of Det. Boone. He was supposed to be incapacitated for the trip out to the West Coast, but he remains just conscious enough to execute an escape. I wonder how that will play out over the season, just to have some crazy vampire running loose around the midwest.

Not a great episode, but decent. Let's see how the rest plays out.

Excellent jobs all around, and inspired casting with the choice of rapper "Stickyfingaz" as Blade.

The pilot episode picks up where "Blade: Trinity" left off. This time around, his tech guy is an Asian fellow named Shen, who seems to share the dry humor of his predecessors. After the death of a young man who seemed to want to be a vampire, his sister(a former soldier) takes it upon herself to find his killer. Along the way, she meets the famous daywalker. Pretty straightforward storyline, not too many surprises along the way. However, it is nice to see a well-written comic-book/sci-fi show come along just in time for the summer.

Apparently, this is what this show is going to be. A poorly written experiment in live action cable-TV.

$300 dollars on a Frankenstein doll? If they are as poor as is suggested, what kind of father allows for the possiblity of his daughter being homeless so that he can buy a doll off the internet? I don't see myself watching this show anymore. It is completely unbelievable, and if you or anyone that you know finds this show to be realistic, then you need some kind of help. This show's only saving grace is that HBO isn't as concerned about ratings as NBC, ABC, or CBS would be.

Not a great episode, but solid and still entertaining. I loved how Fritz sent the humongous basket of flowers to her in the middle of the day, and she is just so hopeless when it comes to juggling her personal and professional life.

Now the killer? Interesting choice. They dusted off Dennis Dutton, and I was just absolutely positive that this time he would indeed be the killer. But as the truth came out, and it was revealed that the victim used her body to advance her husband's career, I realized that it could only be the food critic.

Like I said earlier, this was not one of their best, but still a pretty decent episode.
