I love this show. Full of wit and the occasional rude joke. Now this was cancelled in 2003 and I have a theory why. Some fat git at fox axed it, twiddled his fingers saying in his head "more simpsons episodes" over and over again. This show is a lot better than the simpsons and is way underappreciated. Thank god that comedy central is bringing it back as Im getting tired of the repets Channel 4 show (they show the episode where fry wants his dog cloned 3 times this year!). Final words about it? forget about family guy,simpson and south park. Watch this.

So this is it. The final PROPER blackadder episode. the british army has advanced no further than an asmatic ant with heavy shopping and Melchard has ordered Edmunds men over the top. But Blackadder will not go without a final attempt to leave the frontlines. The major plan includes a pair of pants and two pencils and the word "wooble" the best blackadder episode of the lot with a very serious and powerfull ending fading to a field of poppys. I genuinly cried first time I saw that sequence.

How do I put it. Right. Blackadder is based in four perods of british history (medievil,tudor,dont know the era series 3 is based in and world war 1)and stars Rowan Atkinson as Edmund blackadder and tony robinson as balderick. Writen by Ben Elton this comedy has some very witty lines. One of my faves:
"Do you love your contry?"
"Yes sir."
"do you love your king?"
"No sir."
"And why not?"
"My mother told me never to trust a man with a beard sir."
"Ha, the charm of the native cockney wit." Then melchard smacks balderick in the face. Classic scene. It boils down to this. You MUST watch this series and enjoy it to say you enjoy comedy.
