Wallowing in lack of new episodes from the cult hit Buffy The Vampire Slayer and waiting for word on whether or not Charmed would be picked up for an 8th season - friend is browsing the ondemand and begins to play an episode as I am just getting dressed. He yells, "oh my god, come in here you are going to love this show!" Within five minutes I am instantly hooked and we watch two more. I am astounded as to why I never heard of this show before and the obvious lack of advertisting on Showtimes part. I am excited to know they have both seasons on ondemand eccept two from season one. I continue to watch them and Jeremy has to keep up with me. After finishing season 2, I wonder "when does the new season start? I can't wait!" Upon visiting showtimes site, I found no useful information. I stumble onto deadlikemeonline.com to find this great show was previously cancelled. I am absolutly sad and disgusted that Showtime would even begin to replace it with stupid shows like weeds and various shows for adults in their 30s. *Yawn for me* Maybe Showtime wasn't the perfect network for Showtime, so Scifi offers to take it over and the original creator of the show is hurt because of Showtime and MGM's constant issues when the original creator was only involved with the first few episodes of Season One. Hurt because of corporate business? or hurt because they booted his butt from the show and took out the gay dads affair," storyline??? I am very sorry to hear he was hurt so bad - but the tons of fans out there are in disbelief that this is the end of the show. What now? what would have happened? Where is the rest of our show? Ended just like the hit after it's cancellation - My So Called Life. Bring back Dead Like Me.
