I'm interested to see how this show progresses. I found the inital episodes pretty average. Nothing over the top, but it kept my interest. I like the script. Pretty average for a cop show. This one focusing on special teams unit. We have a derranged man, kill his estranged wife and take another female hostage when cornered. However, one of the things that has peaked my interest is that you see just before the situation as well as just after. In this case the shooter's debriefing. I'll be interested to see how the scripts develop and hopefully it will also cover the agents off the job lives as well.

Well, at least Mac didn't blow anything up. Overall I really enjoyed the episode. It didn't have the action that I expected for a season finale. But ending with a cliffhanger was almost as good. The idea of a bank robber wanting to prove that he didn't kill someone was pretty interesting. This was definitely a Mac centric episode, but they usually are. However, I wished they would have given some more air time to the rest of the team efforts to help him. I loved Stella taking charge and heading to DHS to get info on the weapon. I liked the interaction between them. Sid's new toy was a little to Sci Fi for me, but neat none the less. Counting the days until Season 5 premiere.

Finally, of all the season finales this season, Criminal Minds was one of the few that got it right. It was a great script. Lots of questions regarding what the team is dealing with in regards to the unsubs. We also have some conflict from within the team, which is a nice twist, not surprising. It was not stop. Which was great. The script as a whole was incredible. The team, as well as myself really didn't know what they were up against until the last few minutes and then to leave us hanging the way they did, it was just what a cliffhanger is supposed to due, have you count the days until the season premiere.

Ziva and Tony going undercover to protect Director Shephard, well that didn't work out as planned. Jenny protecting Gibbs, not surprising. Also not surprising was that she died doing it. However, the reappearance of Franks did make things interesting. I really felt for the team in losing Director Shepard, especially after already losing Kate. But, like Ducky said and I'm in agreement, she died on her terms. The team working towards finding who killed Jenny while dealing with the emotions of her loss was hard. With Ziva reaching out to Tony and McGee reaching out to Abby, all offering empty words that won't fill the loss. Now with Leon in charge things are going to get interesting. Splitting up the team, right after losing Jenny, was pretty cold and not something I see Gibbs standing for. He's up to something, feels like revenge and definitely something suiting his own purposes. We'll have to wait and see.

On this one, I'm with Cam, didn't see it coming. I knew Boothe would be okay after last week, he's a star on the show. But I like Bones being bent out of shape having not been filled in on the plan. One of the wonderful things we saw this week is Bones being protective and defensive of her friends. From Hodges, to Boothe and finally Zack. The whole Zach being a murderer had my head swirling. I can see and understand it, but it's still hard to believe. I do appreciate how the did handle it, Zack was taken in, he's not innocent but he's still impressionable hence easily maniputated. This is going to affect the entire team and it will be interesting to see where they go and the ripples of what's happened.
