Well, I decided to classify this show as a Classic, but I am going to make sure that everyone reading this review will know by the end of it that this show is also a personal favourite. Probably my favourite show ever on TV.

I watched it for the first time when it came on Finnish TV. My brother watched it, and he got me to watch it too. After that I was hooked.

A couple of years went by, and recently I got the DVD box and watched it all again. It was still just as amazing as it was the first time around. And during the last couple of nights I watched the whole 11 episodes again, but this time on mute, which made me want to write this review here. I experienced something totally new watching it on mute, something I had never experienced while watching it with sound on all these years.

There were a couple of tearjerkers that always got me no matter when, where and how I was watching the show. But now that I put it on mute and just watched it with subtitles I cried... and I cried... and cried some more. Even though I knew all the episodes, all the dialogue and monologue by heart, when there was no sound, all the facial expressions and the camera angles and slow motion bits, all the emotion just seemed so much stronger and it felt completely new and exciting again.

We all know this show, and we love it. If you want to experience it again in a new way, watch it without sound and use subtitles if you can\'t read lips.

The women in my family, including my good self, have been watching this show for as long as I remember. This show is predictable, it has all the classic soap opera clichés and it's unintentionally funny. It's a complete waste of time, but I love it any way! The show has been going on for so long, that even the writers don't know all the things that have happened, which makes major mistakes possible. The show is so over the top, and I think that the actors and writers know it, and love it.

Bold and the beautiful is pure entertainment. I go online and read Mr Smartypants' daily recaps of the show every single day, and on weekends I don't know what to do with myself. The show's just so... stupid, I can't help but love it.
