Dog Days of Summer

Yes that is what it feels like for me anyways. Today was my last day at my finance internship and tomorrow I am heading out for vacation. (Ocean City, Maryland, wooo!). I have been pretty bad at reading and posting on all your blogs recently. I hope I'll get few a good amount today and before I leave tomorrow so my apologies.

In another news I bought my first DS game. It is Puzzlequest and I know a few of you have it/have played it. So far I really like it although sometimes it can be rather frustrating for someone like myself.

Hope everyone else's summer super awesome fantastic

Dark Knight + More

Saw the Dark Knight last night at midnight. It fufilled all of my hopes and dreams. Heath Ledger was awesome, the guy who played harvey dent was great too. Maggie Gylenhaal was ugh. So much worse than katie holmes in my opinion. Wish she came back for this one. I won't go into any details really since I know a good majority of everyone wants to see it/plans to see it. But wow, great movie.

Also yesterday i bought my first regular xbox game: fable. Plan to play it before I buy fable 2. Fable 2 looked pretty good at e3 and i've had my eye on it. Also picked up a charger for my ds since my friend didn't give me one of those.

Softball game tonight, and work kicked by arse this week, mentally and physically. Its a real cool internship for the summer, but man I can't imagine working like I am for the next 30/40/50 years like this.

Have a good weekend everyone.

ps i wasn't as bummed as a lot of people about e3, but who knows!

SoOO MUCCHH AHHH SUGAR RUSHHH

That is what I will be like in an hour or two I'm sure, after I've downed my first free slurpee from 7/11 the convenience store since today is july 11th or 7/11!

Also more importantly and pertaining more to the site, today is my four year anniversary here! WOOO. Sadly I'm like level 15 on gspot and 3 or 4 on tv.com. :-/.

Monday I start my first real job in corporate america, wearing a suit and tie and all that jazz. I'll be working for Merrill Lynch. More like being a slave really though. I know longer have to work in IT anymore thank god. Don't really care for that stuff. Also totally screwed up with a girl a couple weeks ago, another wahoo.

In gaming news, E3 is exciting me and it isn't even here yet. Spore, SOCOM, Little Big Planet and so many more awesome titles are coming out soon. Just in time for me to ignore college yet again. Speaking of which my grades from last semester kicked butt. But anyways, I'm really excited for a lot of titles and it could result in a very large video game binge which is pretty uncommon for me. On top of all of this my friend gave me his old DS which is basically brand new since he never used it which is pretty sick. I haven't bought any games for it yet, but he gave me one he didn't play anymore.

Hmm what else. This past Tuesday I saw Hellboy II at an advanced screening. I wasn't a huge fan of the first one, but I thought this sequel was pretty good. I even remember telling myself that it was better than I thought it would be during the actual movie. There was a dragging part of it though. This upcoming tuesday or wednesday I should be seeing the new batman and I cannot wait. It is going to be freaking awesome, plus its 2 hours and thirty six minutes. I can't imagine that much awesomeness.

Have a great weekend!!

Man, I really dislike school.

Ugh, and there may be nothing worse than school during the summer. Such a huge damper on everything. I really don't have too much to complain about because its just one class and it doesn't entail too much, but I am a person of procrastination. And as many of us know, procrastination and pretty much anything don't go to well together. (Especially papers in my case).

Anyways, I'll be posting another blog relatively soon compared to my last ones and it will be a bit beefier and perhaps better. Thanks for tuning in and have an excellent few days

9.5 Superb
The Office
Goodbye, Toby
Avg Score: 9.43    Total Ratings: 271    Total Reviews: 28
To start off the episode before the theme song kicked in, Jim played a classic prank on his fellow salesman Dwight. There haven't been to many pranks between the two as of late, so seeing one again filled a very large void in me. As the episode title suggests, Toby is leaving Dunder Mifflin. The Episode takes place during the final day of his stay. As expected, Michael is acting as if this is the best day of his life, and in fact it may just be. There is a lot of the "Michael hating on Toby" throughout the episode and that is another comical part of the show that I had felt had been missing some of as of late. Because Toby is leaving, a new character is introduced: Holly. Holly is going to be the new HR rep for corporate in the Scranton branch. Almost immediately Michael announces his love for her to Jim, and Jim tries to advise Michael to take it slow. I'm sure that this relationship will be a center point of next year's season. During this episode much much more happens and some of it is totally unexpected that you just have to see it. Overall, this episode had everything that was needed to make it a classic.

8.0 Great
Digimon: Digital Monsters
And So It Begins...
Avg Score: 9.22    Total Ratings: 92    Total Reviews: 25
This episode marks the beginning of an epic journey of seven campers from Japan. These seven are transported into what we find out is the digital world. In this pilot episode, Tai the protagonist, first provides the viewer with some background information on each of the seven. Once the heroes are in the digital world, the viewers are introduced to the Digimon. We learn each of the Digimon's name and who they will be partnered with. Although a very crucial part of the show and very important, I found this quite dry and boring, although it is tough to introduce so much information in such little time. While being introduced to all of the new creatures in the Digi-World, a very large Digimon, Kuwagamon (A large and vicious beetle), attacks our heroes and they are forced to fight back. Here we are introduced to the very important feature of Digi-volving. Overall this episode is a very informative one that attempts to answer a lot of questions the viewer may have and tries to add some excitement as well.
