All the Things I Said are Running Through my Head.

Hey, peeps! What's up? I'm just checking in to make sure you guys aren't miserable due to my absence. LOL Kidding! I have a lot of things in my head, but I won't share everything with you. That would take a long time, and time is something that I don't have a lot of these days. So, I'll just blurt some random things.

Last weekend was great!!!!! Let's leave it at that.

I went home last Saturday. My mom and my sister got back from their European trip on that day, too. I missed my mommy. I missed Kaitlyn, too, but I won't say that to her face. LOL The case that my dad was working on (you know, that one that took my place at his side for the summer ) is still not done. He thinks it's going to stretch on until November. Hmm, bummer. Anyway, my other sister, Karen, is taking over my grandma's art gallery in Toronto. Yay! And I'm officially starting university next week! Which means I get new stuff, whoo! LOL My mom extended my curfew from 12 AM to 3 AM, my dad gave me an empty journal, so I can record everything about university, and my sisters gave me a hand-held GPS, so that I won't get lost in the campus.

I'm still a bit purple from the first day of O-Week. I'm not bruised, though; it's just dye. The Student Council was asking for volunteers to show their school spirit by dyeing a part of their body. It was a spur of the moment thing for me and I just went up there and got my whole upper body, including my neck and face, but not my hair (nobody touches my hair, except for me and Laura), dyed purple. Dark purple is the main school colour.

Yesterday, I went to back to my high school. It was the first day for them and I vowed to wreak havoc for fun. Kidding. I went on the morning announcements and told people how I get to have another week of summer because of O-Week, while they get to go to school and suffer. This one guy came up to me and asked me why I'm purple and I was like, "Because I'm sick of you. Away, you!" LOL Kidding!

O-Week has been really fun so far. We've had pep rallies, games, story telling, water fights, hunts, and cheers. There's a university wide BBQ this afternoon. That should be a blast! I'm excited, even though I'm not going to eat anything but salad. The closing ceremonies are on Saturday and there will be a concert with an awesome band. The band is supposed to be a surprise, so I don't know which one it is; it should be good, though. They had Foo Fighters and Billy Talent before. Anyway, I've met a ton of new people and made new friends. It's like high school all over again, but I don't know if that's a good thing or not.

Labour Day celebrations at my home were really fun. My family and Mike's family always spend it together. Mike and I have a tradition every Labour Day. We'd ride our bikes across the city and it's awesome because there aren't many cars on the road. We'd always find a gated community that's "in development" and we'd kind of trespass. We'd use the unfinished pools for BMX and we'd leave a mark on something in remembrance of the day we were there. It's a lot of fun.

Try-outs for sports teams started. Laura started with soccer and basketball. She's already in the volleyball and hockey teams. Yay! I'm starting on volleyball at the end of the week. I already made the basketball team (as a shooting guard) and the football team (as a wide receiver). The coaches wanted me to try out for the quarterback position, but I declined. I'll let the other guys fight over that position. Hope they don't break anything in the process.

I bought some boxes of cereals today. Whoo! My cereal is Kellogg's Frosted Flakes. Why? Because they're grrreat! LOL Michael Phelps is on the box, which is weird. You don't want to eat breakfast with a half-naked guy in front of you. Or maybe you do...do you? Kidding! I bought Wheaties, too...only because Nastia Liukin is on the box. You know what I just realized recently? Nastia Liukin was Nastia Liukin in the movie "Stick It." Like, whoa! LOL And she was that girl in the Adidas commercial with the tagline "Impossible is nothing" in the 2004 Olympics. I liked that commercial, especially in the end where she goes, "there's a chance that for just one moment...perfection is possible." Loves it. LOL

I have some pictures from O-Week and a lot of pictures from my mom's trip, but I'm not posting them because I'm lazy. Ha ha. Here have a view: http://img113.imageshack.us/img113/1104/greece17ws7.jpg

I'll catch up with your blogs when I get the time, I promise. But this is it for now. Have a Happy Hump Day!

Baby On Board

You know how when there's a kid around, you can't really do anything?

Last weekend was supposed to be the best weekend of my summer. On Thursday, I woke up at 5 AM; a full hour earlier than when I usually wake up. I was so pumped; it was ridiculous. LOL I dropped my dogs at my sister's in Toronto, I had breakfast with my dad, I tidied up around the house, then, I went to pick up Laura after lunch. When I got to her house, I was expecting her to be the one standing on her front porch. Imagine my surprise when it was Sarah, Laura little sister, who was standing there with bags at her feet. This is how it all went down:
Me: Hey, little one! Where are you going?
Sarah: With you. http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/6679/gaspeh4.jpg You can take care of the bags, right? I'll be in the car. *double* http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/6679/gaspeh4.jpg
It turns out that Laura's grandmother's sister is very ill, so her parents had to go see her for the weekend. And Sarah had to come with us here in Collingwood. My dream weekend turned into a nightmare. LOL Kidding.

There were some good times during the weekend. With Sarah around, I had an excuse to have junk food in the cottage. I've been keeping away from chocolate since I started my detox diet, but last weekend I got to eat Marshmallow Supremes for breakfast. Yay! We went to Niagara Falls last Thursday because Sarah wanted to go. I actually liked that idea. Not because Niagara is considered as the Honeymoon Capital of the world, but because I figured Laura and I could just leave Sarah there. LOL Kidding! We got there at night and we did the whole tourist-y thing the next day. Here are some pictures:
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/1344/niagara1lb3.jpg
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/1080/niagara3fs4.jpg
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/2751/niagara2gc6.jpg

We drove to Collingwood on Friday night and on Saturday, Shayne and Michelle got here. Shayne was so stoked to make a firemelon video; he brought 4 melons. We only got to explode 2, though, because we made the other 2 into desserts, so that Sarah wouldn't get suspicious. We didn't get to make a video because we had to do the explosion in secret. Shayne and I went ATV-ing on Saturday night and that's when we blew up melons in the forest. See kids, that's how you start a proper forest fire. LOL Kidding!

On Sunday, we went to church, to brunch, and, then, we went shopping. We also went to Best Buy and I got a new laptop. I was wearing a blue dress shirt, khaki pants, and black leather shoes. I looked like one of the employees of Best Buy. LOL There was this mother who came up to me and started asking questions about laptops. She also asked me which laptop I think is best for her son. I was like, "Uh…that one?" Kidding. I gave her my legitimate opinion; I even told her what programs are good for school purposes. It's what I do – I'm Kyle, the Not Really Best Buy Employee.

The weekend was very relaxing…too relaxing. LOL Sarah wanted Laura to sleep in the same room as her, so I had a lot of time to myself. I had nothing to do before I went to bed on Saturday and Sunday night and I was hella bored, so I read through the first two books of the Twilight Series. They were okay. I liked 'New Moon' better than 'Twilight' only because 'New Moon' has four pages with only one word on each page. What a way to waste trees. Go world!

Shayne and Michelle went home this morning. Laura took Sarah home, as well. She'll be back tomorrow with my car. Then, my dream weekend would come true. I have one more day of work. Yay! Wednesday is a free day; we'll just be having a party. Tomorrow, the scouts are coming back to Sports Camp; they were there today. Ugh. I don't like scouts; they add unneeded pressure. When they came to my games, they always wanted to talk to me and I just sort of ran away. I just didn't want their expectations on top of my coaches', teammates', parents', and my expectations. I was secretly grateful that they took the time to come to my games, though. It showed that I was doing something right.

Anyway, sorry I haven't been commenting on your blogs. I've read through them; I just didn't comment. I'm ruthless like that. I don't rejoice when people have the best day of their summer or when they get the new LG Shine or when they have a possible reconciliation with their ex-BFFs or when they announce the date for an award show (especially when they say I didn't win a Dory LOL) or when people post really good spoilers or when I find out that another country won less medals in the Olympics than my country [oh, wait. Scratch that. I do rejoice on that one. Kidding.] I especially don't rejoice when people go to funerals because there's really nothing to rejoice about. I'm so sorry for your loss, Mike. I won't say that it's going to be okay because it won't. You life has been changed forever. But it will get easier one day. Just hang in there, buddy!

So, this is the last week of summer. Next week is going to be busy because it's Orientation Week in my university. My university has the biggest O-Week in the country, so that should be a blast. Try-outs also start for some sports next week, so I might not be here much.

Have a great last week of the summer for those who haven't started school yet and have a great first week of school to those who have!

Just for Chuckles

Hey, pals! How's it going? It's going for me, so I hope it's going for you, too. I had dinner with my neighbors next door. I wanted to remedy the situation between the girl next door and I...because I don't want her to go all "Fatal Attraction" on me. We talked it out and we know where we stand. She said it's fine to be just friends with me. The issue is resolved, which is awesome. I don't like it when girls like me, anyway. LOL Kidding.

My friends, Brady and James, are in Thailand right now. They've been touring Southeast Asia and they sent me some pictures today. So far, they've been in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand. The places they've been to look amazing. I want to go to Asia right now. LOL Kidding. Here are some pictures:

My personal favourite. http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/2700/monkonacellinbangkokfk7.jpg

I don't really have any interesting story to tell today. I know; it's shocking. Kidding. So, how about we just make fun of some of my old and very unflattering pictures? LOL

Teenage Angst -- I look very emo-tastic in this one. This is actually a commemoration picture. I shaved it all off that night. http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/8978/12du6.png

Trying to Look Demure -- Honestly, though, I don't really know what I was going for in this picture. LOL http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/7408/tryingtobedemuresu5.jpg

Chicken Legs -- I was the one on the far right. Actually, we all have chicken legs. We're a team of chicken legged guys. Well, at least we don't look like those body-building guys, who look like lobsters in disguise. LOL No offense to anyone out there. http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/8094/fooba2mp8.jpg

IQ of 4 -- I look like my IQ just dropped 140 in this photo. LOL The balloon was a nice touch, if I may say so myself. http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/6830/ruggedballoonxm1.jpg

HAHAHA Wow -- 'nuff said. http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/1374/random16xh4.jpg

Wrong Angle of Shot -- but I still look weird from afar no matter what. http://img374.imageshack.us/img374/922/random5ez7.jpg

Too Much Hair -- my hair looks heavier than my entire head. LOL Ooh! Granny Glasses. http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/9903/34502574fh0.jpg

Still Too Much Hair -- That's my friend, Sung, with me. http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/6984/semi0701kx9.jpg

Pregnant -- My Adam's Apple is disgusting here. Janna's face was priceless, though. http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/6002/whipitru8.jpg

And my favourite one -- http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/627/chuckyny5.jpg Oh, wait. That wasn't me.

Anyway, let's deviate from all that. LOL This Thursday, Laura will be here. Yay! My friends, Shayne and Michelle, will be here on Saturday and Sunday. And for fun, we might blow up some melons.

Oh, and this is for Sally...because she's the only one who wants to see it. Fair warning, though, to those who might be tempted to watch it anyway: it has inappropriateness, prominent tan lines, some French, Avril Lavigne and Lil Mama, some profanity in the subtitles, reckless driving, a very scared woman, goofy walks, ice cream, butts, and EXPLOSIVE MELONS. You know, everyday stuff in the lives of 17 year-old guys. We had roles -- I was the Skater, Brady was the Prep, Ray was the I'm With the Band Guy, and Hayden was the Combination of the Three. LOL Watch it here: http://www.imeem.com/shoubenacadie/video/XBtdPjxv/firemelon_dance_video/

Oh, and by the way, Sally, thanks for the blame. Just send the papers to my parents and we'll adopt you. LOL

That's all for me. Have a good night or day!

Coast to Coast from East to West

Hey, guys and gals! How's it going? I'm doing well and, surprisingly, well rested, too. I got 7 hours of sleep last night! Yay! I slept for two hours at the airport and slept through the whole plane ride home. I dropped by my sister's place in Toronto for a quick shower and to pick up my dogs, and then I drove straight to Sports Day Camp here in Collingwood.

Last Thursday night, I couldn't sleep, so I watched the Individual Women's All-Around Gymnastics Finals. Nastia Liukin (USA) won gold, Shawn Johnson (USA) won silver, and Yang Yilin (China) won bronze. At first I didn't want to watch it because I always get nervous for the gymnasts. One wrong move and they could break their neck on TV. I was kind of clutching my pillow in front of my face when I was watching. Nastia's gold was a well deserved win; she stuck 3 of her 4 landings. She's awesome! She's also 18 years old…which makes the feeling of being a perv while watching her sort of lessen. Kidding. In other Olympics related news, Canada has won medals now. Whoo!

Anyway, last Friday, I flew to Halifax, Nova Scotia (east coast) with Mike to visit our friends, Julie, Connor, Lejla, Cole, and Ed. We were there by noon and we met up with our friends for a late lunch. We had endless shrimp! Yay! I spent most of the afternoon with Ed (I started calling her Ed again because she said that it sounds weird when I call her Erin). This Wednesday is her 18th birthday and if we hadn't started talking again, then it would have been the fifth birthday of hers that I would have missed. To make up for the 4 birthdays that I did miss, I took her out for a shopping spree. Everyone else went for a hike, while we went for a hike up the mall stairs. LOL It was fun; we used to shop together on her birthdays when we were younger. She lead and I followed with all the bags; just like old times.

Now before you go, "OMG! Why would you do that with your ex-girlfriend?!" I want to say that, although I was with Ed, I was thinking of Laura that whole time. That sounds like such a cheater's excuse. No, but I was thinking of Laura when we were shopping. For example, when Ed and I went to a lingerie store, I thought of Laura when we were there. I even bought some stuff for her. Also, when we were at a magazine stand and I saw the new issue of Cosmopolitan, I thought of her at that moment, too. I bought that new issue, actually. I didn't buy it for me, though; I bought it for Laura. Though I do like reading Cosmo sometimes. What? It's very educational; it's like reading a girl's mind. LOL

On Saturday, we were supposed to go fishing in this fishing area, but we didn't get there because we got lost. We were on the side of the road for an hour, trying to figure out where we were. That resulted to me being a Negative Nancy for a while. LOL I got over it, though. Instead of going to the fishing area, we went to this fair-like place where you can catch fish inside a tank with a fishing net. We spent the rest of the day at a diner, just catching up with each other. I had my laptop with me and we were looking through old photos when I found The Firemelon Video! It's a video I made with my friends last summer where we blew up melons and ran around without clothes. LOL It was made simply out of boredom, but it became a project that I edited like a fiend.

My friends, Hayden, Ray, and Brady are in the video. While we were watching the video, Mike suggested that we go to Vancouver, British Columbia (west coast) to see Hayden and our other friends, Trisha, Rachel, Erik, Miles, Pirdad, and Shanna. He also hinted that I'm going to be busy this weekend, so I was like, "We should go to BC. We should do it right now." Mike was like, "Yeah!" Then, I asked our other friends around the table if they would like to come with and they were like, "Yeah!" LOL We drove back to the hotel, packed our bags, and caught a red eye flight to Vancouver. Spontaneity is awesome!

By 9 AM, we were standing in front of the University of British Columbia waiting for our friends to start the tour. After all the tours my friends have given me with their universities, I still think that my university is the best. And I'm not biased at all. Kidding. My friends are renting a house together for the school year; we stayed there for the rest of the day. We talked, watched movies, and tossed back a few…good times. LOL Kidding! Nobody got drunk, except for my buddy, Jake. Jake's back from Ireland, but I didn't know he was in Vancouver, so that was a surprise. He looked so out of it. http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/7622/drinkcm1.jpg The cup I was holding had nothing in it; I was just holding it for fun. You know, for the feel. We also played Jenga (because that's what it's called LOL). http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/6927/unoyi1.jpg and took random photos. http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/5872/photozd8.jpg Well, actually that was just me. LOL

See, I wasn't intoxicated; I was just high…with happiness. http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/7084/toohappyqx3.jpg I don't know what was going on in this one, but something was. LOL http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/974/uhhma5.jpg That "beverage" on the table wasn't mine. I was just watching it for someone else.

And here are some other random shots:

That was my weekend. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Dances With Dogs

I wrote Dogs because I don't have Wolves.

Hello, people! How's it hanging? I'm doing better; I only have sniffles now. I actually went to Sports Day Camp yesterday and the day before…so I can sic my sick to the kids. LOL Kidding, they're fine. I made them run 5 kilometers, so I could sit on my coach's chair for 30 minutes without any disturbances. But that's good for them, too, because they were away from me and my contagious self. See, I was just thinking of their well-being…and getting a good tan while thinking of their well-being.

Anyway, I read in the newspaper the other day that a local TV station, 'A-Channel,' has changed its name to just 'A.' I was like, "Eh?" LOL I wanted to see the changes last night, so I tuned in for a bit. When I switched channels, "One Tree Hill" was on. It was the episode with Haley and Nathan's wedding and a limousine accident at the end. Sophia Bush gets the best actress nod in this episode. She was all, "I am not pushing you away Lucas, I am holding on for dear life! But I need you to need me back! Why wouldn't you tell me about the kiss and why wouldn't you call me while you were away and why won't you ever just let me all the way in?" The emotional outburst was really good. I like seeing girls cry. I'm kidding! I liked the end because they played 'Boston' by Augustana and 'Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You' by Led Zeppelin, which are both awesome songs by awesome bands.

Last night, I had trouble sleeping again because I wasn't doped up with cold medication anymore. So, I finished reading 'And Then There Were None' by Agatha Christie. It's about 10 people stranded on an island and one by one they mysteriously fall off the face of the Earth. It's really good. After that, I read through 'Phantom, The Novel of His Life' by Susan Kay. I've been engrossed with The Phantom lately; he's an interesting character. He's a man with the face of the Devil, but a voice of an Angel. It's a good book. I'd give both books 3 thumbs out of 3…even though I only have 2. LOL

I finished reading around 3 AM this morning, but I still couldn't sleep. I slept around 4 AM and woke up two hours later. I've been drinking Monster Energy drinks all day and I'm starting to see spots. Kidding. When I got up this morning, I went for a run with my dogs. They're very well trained; they run when I run (in the same pace, too) and they stop when I stop. They don't go crazy when they see other dogs or any other animal, which is weird in a good way. When I run, I glance down from time to time to see how my dogs are doing, but I usually keep my head up. You don't want to stare at the ground when you're running…that's how you hit a tree. Trust me; I know. LOL In my defense, the tree came out of nowhere. I didn't see it coming at all, so it wasn't my fault. The tree was to blame. See how uncool plants are? Kidding.

My dogs and I were running at the park and everything was fine. I glanced down and saw three dogs; MY three dogs. Then, I looked up and kept running. When I looked down again after a couple of minutes, I saw 4 dogs. http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/6679/gaspeh4.jpg There was a black lab running with us and it really stood out because my dogs have golden, white, and brown coats. So, I stopped and, in turn, my dogs stopped. The black lab kept running, then, it stopped and looked back at us. Then, it turned around and kept running. It wasn't wearing a collar, so I don't know if it was lost. It was freaky…but we just kept running when it was out of sight.

When we got back from our run, I learned why the girl next door wouldn't talk to me. She was standing on the porch, holding a Thermos. She made chicken noodle soup for me, which was very thoughtful. And she talked to me for the first time since I've known her. We were actually having a conversation when I blew it. Gah! LOL She asked me if I wanted to hang out with her tomorrow and I declined because I'm going to Nova Scotia. I feel so bad because she looked so crushed; I didn't even have a chance to explain why I said "No" because she ran away quickly. I looked at my dogs and they were just staring at me. I was like, "Not a word." When I returned the Thermos at her house after consuming what's inside, I expressed my gratitude, apologized, and explained myself. Then, three things happened – she blushed, took the Thermos, and closed the door. I think I destroyed her. Bad, Kyle. Bad. LOL

Here's a tidbit about another girl (very special girl to me) – Laura's coming back from Utah next week! Whoo! She'll be here by the end of the week and I am exceptionally excited. I haven't seen her in person in over a month. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, indeed. And I am ready for all the fond. Not that kind of "fond," though. Gosh! LOL

Take it easy, peeps. Have a great weekend!

Dan and Serena tried to bring their relationship into a new level, which was played out quite nicely at the end with the candles and the music. it was sweet. the chemistry between Penn and Blake is really great. in the beginning, Dan was all researchy about what to do and stuff; reading the Kama Sutra, watching some "films", and looking up "sensuous massages" on the net. lol that was nice, shows how thoughtful Dan is.

it was funny when he got caught by his dad about the massages and when Serena fell off the bed when Vanessa came barging in through Dan's window. i didn't like that Vanessa is still holding a candle for Dan, it made her look, i don't know, rather desperate. (sort of) i'm not sure if that's the right word, let's just say that i didn't see her in a good light in this episode, especially when she listed off Serena's past experiences to Dan...that was tacky, so i didn't like her in this episode. (but maybe that's just because i'm a Dan/Serena shipper, i don't know ^_^) Blair and Nate were heartbreaking....Blair was all, "you should deal with your father, he needs you. you know what? i don't." one can appreciate the irony of the situation: Nate and Blair are supposed to be the perfect couple, yet they can't make it work and their relationship dwindles down into nothingness. it's sad. Chuck and Blair...not my favourite hook-up but i think that it's good because it adds to the depth of Chuck's character in the next few episodes. but, honestly, they didn't click for me. it's the same with Nate and Serena; all the smacking sounds in their scene was quite unnerving, really. hahaha

kudos to Penn, Blake, Leighton, and Ed for great acting performances. Chace needs to catch up to them, IMO. ^_^

so the season starts off with a bang. Clark and Phantom Clark get it on. i gotta say, the battle was a bit disappointing because all they did was smack each other...you know, one punches and then the other punches. i know it's hard to do a choreographed fight sequence when you're doing it basically by yourself, but i guess i was just hoping for more. Clark's uppercut was awesome though :-) (the one in the beginning where the Phantom Clark ended up being stabbed through the sides and the one in the end where the Phantom Clark was defeated)

i was never a fan of Lex but i would give him props in this episode...you have to symphatize with the guy, he just 'lost' his wife, whom according to him is "the reason he lives". cheesy, you say? i know hahaha kudos to Michael Rosenbaum for great acting abilities ^_^ so, it seems that Lex would be having a new outlook in life now that he believes he was saved by an angel...an angel who happens to be the new character in the series -- Kara -- this girl has a striking resemblance to Eliza Dushku, doesn't she? i was like "whoa, what's Faith doing in Smallville?" (in case you didn't know, Faith is the character Eliza Dushku played in Buffy the Vampire Slayer -- which was a genius of a show by the way)

also, in this episode Chloe died...i was like "nooo" and then BAM! SHE'S ALIVE!!! so that gives us sort of an answer to what exactly her power is...she can give back life to the dead...but she dies for a little while too. neat, huh? lol

the Lois and Clark interaction was great, as always...the comedic relief never fails to produce and warm feeling inside of me...hahaha sorry, i actually laughed out loud on what i just wrote ^_^

in the end we find out that Lana isn't dead after all...come on, i mean, nobody really thought she died, right? the car blowing up last season was so fake...it turns out that Lana is now in Shanghai, China. she was staring at the moon, which surprisingly is also the same moon Clark was staring at...it's like magic! lol so the girl is half way around the world from the guy...i hope she finds her way back to him...i'm still cruising on the Clana boat ^_^

this season finale was great, although it did get corny at some points...like the answer to "how can you stop an exploding man?" is LOVE. why can't it be a one on one battle? where's the blood and gore?? i waited for that and it kinda left me hanging...i'm just kidding ;) i liked the way it ended, there was a clean conclusion and a good introduction to the next volume of the show.

some highlights of the episode for me were Claire's jump from the window of Nathan's office then walking away just seconds after, Nathan's sacrifice at the end...i didn't expect that from him but he came through, how Linderman died with a punch through the back of the head (that was cool), Nathan's dialog with Peter near the end, the explosion in the sky (that was BEAUTIFUL...hahaha roflmao), and the Nikki vs Fake Jessica fight...girl on girl action never fails (even though it's basically the same girl) hehehe a part that disappointed me a little was the death of Sylar...i mean, one stab and he's dead just like that? and what was up with the blood trail to the manhole? is he still alive? are Peter and Nathan still alive? we don't know who's dead and who's not anymore because heroes get badly hurt and they live, yet some die just like that. all and all, this season was very good. two thumbs up for me ^_^

the introduction of the next volume was interesting so i definitely will be waiting for the next season...hope it's as good as the first one (unlike what happened to the OC lol)

this episode is explosive! an i don't mean because of the bombs and all the wall crashing that happened in this one, i mean it's explosive because of the way the plot was played out in the episode. you get a phantom possessing human bodies, you get a glimpse of the whole Clark and Lana saga -> Clark finally tells Lana everything about his secret, you get the drama and the end of the Lang-Luthor marriage, you discover Chloe's power, you have a very inquisitive Lois, you have an exploding car, you have a Lionel that is actually trying to help, you have a Lex that's showing his true colours, and a one on one battle at the end...this episode is full of revelations that i have been waiting to find out the entire season. but i do think that it should have been more than an hour season finale, i was kinda disappointed with the 'to be continued' part at the end...it left me hanging high and dry. but it's all good, there's enough excitement in this episode to make me keep watching for the next season...there's a lot to wait for, like the conclusion of the battle between Clark and wraith Clark and the continuation of Clark and Lana lovin' lol -> it's pretty obvious Lana didn't die in that car ;)

kudos to all the actors for a job well done...Tom and Kristin really have good chemistry in front of the camera. i also liked Lana's character development, she's learning to fight back and be smart enough to run away from things that are bigger than she can handle...kinda feisty and HOT. (it certainly doesn't hurt that it's Kristin Kreuk portraying her hehehe)

finally, the whole Clark versus the wraith phantom thing was kinda interesting too...it's like spider-man versus the venom (superhero versus alien counterpart) i liked that...there's someone to match Clark's powers in a fight. i have a feeling that next season's opener will be very mint ^_^

this episode is off the hook! Nathan is now the president, Matt is an agent and hunting down the heroes out there, Peter have the scar on his face and is all powerful, Nikki won the personality battle and is currently in a relationship with Peter, Claire has brown hair and is getting married to this Andy guy (isn't she only 21 by this time?), Hiro is considered a terrorist and the only one trying to change what happened 5 years ago.

the plot just gets better and better with the revelation that Nathan was really Sylar in disguise...he became the president and is in control of everything that is happening in the country. i have to say that i didn't see that coming...i was getting confused because Nathan was getting a bit out of character with the darker persona, but then it was revealed that he was Sylar after all. then he killed Claire...that was a bit of a shocker.

towards the end is where all the action takes place. Peter and Hiro battle it out with the homeland security and Sylar and Peter face off...Sylar with ice and Peter with nuclear energy, totally awesome ;) kudos to all the actors in this episode. it's full of action with a dramatic undertone, which warms this cold beating heart of mine. jk ^_^
