The Top 10 Best Movies.

There are so many good movies out there, here are my top 10.

11. The Sisterhood of the Travalling Pants: A chick flick, but a good one. It has a great mix of comedy and drama about 4 girls trying to go through the summer without each other.

10. Shrek 2: The best sequel ever. It was more adventurous then the first one and had a better story. A good movie to watch over and over again.

9.The Nightmare Before Christmas: Tim Burton's Dark visuals in a delighful movie about a skellinton who's trying to make his own Christmas.

8.Hairspray: An up-beat musical about a plump teenager trying to fight rasism and trying to get on a dance show.

7. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: Disney did a good job making this movie, closest to the book. And it worked.

6. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Tim Burton gives his wonderful visuals to make one of the most classic books ever into a great movie about a boy that gets the chance the go into a magical chocolate factory.

5. Billy Madison: The funniest Adam Sandler movie up to date. There is something funny with a 35 year old man going back to school.

4. The Santa Clause: A Christmas movie but probably, the funniest one about Tim Allen becoming Santa Clause

3. Indiana Jones: Raider of the Lost Ark: The best adventure movie to date. Unlike those sterotypes like The Mummy.

2.Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street: The 6th collaboration with Tim Burton/Johnny Depp is on par with there other ones. The music is great and the story and visuals are also good, too.

1. Don't have one. I've seen to many movies to know.

Tell me your Top 10 Movies.

Top 10 Worst Movie Sequels.

OK, here are my top ten worst movie sequels:

10. The Grudge 2-The Grudge, to me was one of the most scariest movie ever. The second one comes out, and I wasn't scared. Was the materiel just old or was it just the movie?

9. The Princesss Diaries 2: The first one, I have to admit was great. The second one came out and it didn't have that good fun filled story like the first.

8. The Ring 2: The first one scared millions of people in theaters. While the second movie had some good ideas and a good, dark atmosphere, the second one just didn't live up to it's first.

7. Scary Movie 2: I have to admit, the 1st, 3erd and 4th are pretty funny. This one by chance, has to be the grossest and stupidest of them all.

6. High School Musical 2: The second one didn't have the same elements that the first movie did. The second one was basically his friends whinning about him about changing. The songs weren't as good either.

5. Spy Kids 2: The second one was the weakest I have to admit. There was some brilliant ideas here, but nothing can live up to the pretty good Spy Kids.

4. Halloweentown High: Halloweentown is one of my favorite movie series. But I found that the third one in the series, Halloweentown High is the weakest.

3.The Neverending Story 2: The first one is one of the greatest fantasies out there. The second one changed everything, the actors, the atmosphere and everything. It was nice to see the story continue, but not like this.

2. Baby Geniusses 2: Who ever thought of crime fighting babies should be fired. It's also bad enough that the first movie wasn't that good either.

For #1, you guys choose. If I missed any other bad sequels, just tell me.

The Nightmare Before Christmas VS The Corpes Bride

2 very good stop-motion animated movies, 2 very good movies from visionary director Tim Burton, 2 very good movies with different plots. I made 5 rounds. Each round will have a topic and the two movies could have a chance of winning.

Round One: Story Telling:

The Nightmare Before Christmas is about Jack Skellington, a skelleton who is also the 'Pumpkin King' of Halloweentown. Every year, Halloweentown celebrates Halloween and each year, gets better and better. But Jack is getting tired of it. He accidently goes into Christmastown and tries to make his own Christmas.

The Corpse Bride is about young Victor Van Dort and his arranged marriage to Victoria Everglotte. While reciting his vows in the forrest, he puts his wedding ring on a twig. Surprise! It wasn't a twig, it was the finger of a corpse! Now, Victor is summon to the land of the dead while the land of the living wonders where he is.

Round 1 is a tie.

Round Two: Female Hero's:

The Nightmare has Sally, the rag doll, a creation of Dr. Finkletein. She has a crush on Jack, and tries to stick by him 100% but with an awful premonition about Jack's Christmas, she tries to him.

The Corpse Bride has, well, the Corpse Bride, a woman named Emily who got murdered the night before her wedding. She wants Victor to be her husband.

Round Two goes to 'The Nightmare'

Round Three: Hero

The Nightmare has Jack and his trusty ghost dog, Zero. He saves Sally and Santa from Oogie Boogie and saves the entire Christmas holiday.

The Corpse Bride has Victor saving Emily (The Corpse Bride) from a broken heart as he suffers his life to be her husband. He also saves Victoria from Lord Barkis.

Round Three goes to 'Nightmare'

Round Four: Voice Overs:

The Nightmare contains the voices of Chris Sarandon and Catherine O'Hara as Jack and Sally.

The Corpse contains the voices of Acadamy Award winner, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Albert Finny and Tracy Ulman

Round Four goes to 'The Corpse'

Round Five: Villains:

The Nightmare's villain is Oogie Boogie. A mean, green, Boogeyman who kidnaps Sandy Claus and Sally and has three trick or treaters to do his dirty work, named Lock, Shock and Barrel

The Corpse has Lord Barkis. A human man who marries Victoria when Victor goes missing. He can get killed much more easier then Oogie Boogie.

Round Five goes to Nightmare.

Round Round-up:

The Nightmare: 4

The Corpse: 2

Both Movies are really good. The Nightmare is just better in some things, then the Corpse. I love both movies.

Are the Old TV Shows the Best?

Are the Old TV shows the Best? I think so. Old TV shows I grew up with are the best tv showsthat were probable around. Growing up in the 90's, I watched a lot of tv shows like:

Muppet Babies

Goosebumps

Are You Afraid of the Dark

Clarissa Explains it All

100 Deeds of Eddie ------

Barney and Friends

Arthur

Dudley and Dragon

Magic School Bus

And I could Name more. The 90's were the best time for movies, tv, books, and games. What about you guys?

PS: Does anyone remember the game "Screwy Lewie"?

Tim Burton is possibly the greatest visinary director today. His dark visuals makes it wonderful to watch. Tim grew up in Burbank, California and worked as an animator for Disney. Then, we made his first feature film, Pee-Wee's Big Advenutre and he built his carrer from there.

America Ferrera

America Ferrera is a one of a kind, Spanish/American actress. She's one of those down to earth actress who doesn't let fame go to her head. She had many roles but she got famous by playing Carmen in 'The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants'. I thought, personnaly that Amber Tamblyn and America had the most interesting plots and made me lewered me to watch it. After that, America got her big debute in ABC's Ugly Betty which was a 8:00-9:00 p.m. scheduel on Thursday nights before Grey's Anatomy. She's is currently filming 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2' due to the success of the first one and filming Ugly Betty.

American Idol has been the most popular show on Fox ever since it started. It features 3 judges, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdule and Randy Jackson. They go all around America searching for singers. The best go on to the next round and the others, well, don't. The best singers go into different rounds, and the 3 judges iliminate them to 24 or 25, where the boys and girls split up into two different episodes, one group preforms on Tusday and the other, Wensday. On the ilinimation episode which is Thursday, one boy and one girl get iliminated until it's down to 10 where they come together. The bad part about the show, is that it's sometimes fixed.

America's Got Talent
Avg Score: 7.80    Total Ratings: 575    Total Reviews: 77
This show is just one big talent show. People of any age, any talent from anywhere in America can try out in this show and get judged on to the next round by Pierce Morgan (Journal Editor), David Hasslehoff (Baywatch) and Sharon Osborn. Brandy Normwood (Singer and actress in Moesha) used to be the judge, until she went to jail. Hopefully she'll be back this year because I like her better then Sharon. And lets not forget, it's hosted by Jerry Springer. It was Regis Philben until he had to go for surgery. And there is three rounds and the winner gets 1 million$. This show is from Simon Cowell (American Idol).
