No More 'Charmed'
Well, as of last night, Charmed is no more! 
We had 8 wonderful years with these girls known as "The Charmed Ones" and now it's over! At least we still have repeat episodes to keep us happy!

New DVD box sets
I am so excited! Some of my favorite shows are having a DVD box set to be released this year before Christmas. Charmed Season 2 will be out on 9/6/05. Tru Calling Season 2 will be out 8/2/05. Smallville Season 4 will be out 9/13/05. Gilmore Girls Season 4 will be out 9/27/05. And I just found out that Point Pleasant Season 1 (all 13 episodes) will be out on 10/25/05. I cannot wait!
Update:
I recently purchased Charmed Season 2 and 3, Tru Calling Season 2, Smallville Season 4, and Point Pleasant. Now all I need to get is all of Gilmore Girls. Maybe for Christmas!

Christmas 2005 -- I received the remaining DVD box sets that I was missing for Christmas. I now have every season of Angel, Buffy, Gilmore Girls, Charmed, Smallville, and Tru Calling that are available. YAY!

All the good shows get cancelled
Has anyone ever noticed how the really good shows like "Tru Calling" and "Point Pleasant" get cancelled prematurely, but these reality shows like "The Simple Life" and "The Batchelor" keep coming back? Doesn't that just tick you off?

This show is such a rare find. It is both funny and dramatic -- a "dramedy" you could call it. I even got my mother hooked on it. That says a lot. She and I really do not have the same taste in TV shows. She even went out and bought the first 3 seasons on DVD. I love everything about this show. I love the characters. It makes you want to see them grow, be happy, develop relationships... I can't wait until the next season starts in a couple of months.

I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Just the thought of the devil's daughter being part human...wow! She had powers she wasn't even aware of until she was grown. Her powers were also tied to her emotions. They flared up when she was angry. Considering she was the offspring of Satan, her angry thoughts aren't too surprising. The show was really starting to get unbelievably good and then it was cancelled. I was so upset! I will definitely buy the DVD when it comes out!

Well, the series came full circle. It started with "In every generation a slayer is born..." and ended with "every girl in the world who might be a Slayer, will be a Slayer." Willow's hair turns white performing the spell, which was so awesome. Buffy and Faith are finally working together instead of trying to kill each other. Angel came back to help, but was sent back to work on the second front, which wasn't needed after all. Anya didn't make it. That was a shocker! Buffy told Spike she loved him, just as Cassie said she would.

Luke and Lorelai finally get together after 4 years! I think I speak for all GG fans when I say "YAY!" I was so excited when he finally kissed her. As for Rory and Dean, I could hardly believe it. He is a married man! Rory should have known better. I guess you learn from your mistakes.

"Let's go to work". Those four words began the series and they ended it. I think it was great how Angel and Co. worked together to demolish the Circle of the Black Thorn. And to think Lorne was the one to kill Lindsey, wow! What a twist! It was also a bit of a tearjerker to see Fred come back as Wesley was dying just to give him a proper good-bye.
