CharmedGood That Old Black Magic "Not my favorite storyline" Blair witch on the loose! Another interesting demon! Tuatha is an apparent invincible witch who, after being locked away in a lost cave for two-hundred years, seeks revenge on the person(s) who imprisoned her.

I absolutely hate the whole 'chosen one' subplot, all that seventh son of the seventh son was bullsh*t. The actor who plays Kyle is untalented and he spends the hour whining and feeling sorry for himself. He does himself no favours and annoys me more because it seems all he's after is pity and attention. It would have been a lot better if the girls had had a big battle with Tuatha with some cool explosions! Shannen is great in this episode and I love the scene in which she comments on Jack's package. The scene in which Prue throws Tuatha through the door is fantastic - I'm not sure why but I always flip back to watch it again. This episode, for me is when Dan starts to ruin the show. The whole love triangle thing starts in this episode and becomes old before it even starts. We also meet Jack Sheriden who goes on to become Prue's new love interest. I always liked Jack and it's a shame he left as quickly as he did. A pretty average episode but I think would've been a lot better without Kyle. |

CharmedGreat She's A Man, Baby, A Man! "Above average" Get in there Prue! Yay! Another original, creepy demon which made for a fun hour of TV only to be ruined by the whole 'Prue becomes a man' subplot. I thought it was a really cheesy idea and it really let down the episode in my opinion.

I liked Phoebe's psychic link with the succubus. The idea of mind control reminded me of the power of empathy she gets a few seasons later but it made me wonder what it would have been like if she got the power in that episode. The succubus was a fantastic, very interesting demon and I would've loved for her to have been in more than one episode. Piper's now in full pursuit of Dan after watching his date tape, whilst still lusting after Leo, much to my disgust – I wish she'd just choose Leo! Prue seems to have finally gotten over Andy and tries to find a new boyfriend (which she does with a little help from Manny) and the scene at the end where they talk, and then dance is really cute. And then finally, the band at the end - I love The Cranberries and 'Just my imagination' is their best song in my opinion so I really enjoyed the end of this episode, such a happy tone. |

CharmedGood The Devil's Music "Above average" Such a generous demon - Perfect hair and make-up, even after being eaten! I just had to refer to that. It really did annoy me when I first saw this episode. After being eaten and then freed from the demons insides, all the girls still have perfect hair and make-up and then proceed to walk out of the room as if nothing had ever happened…

Aside from that, it was an ok episode. I loved the demon, it was possibly one the creepiest demons ever to be featured on Charmed. The make-up looked fantastic and extremely realistic so I praise the person who came up with the idea for the demon. My favourite part in this episode was when the entire main cast came together in P3. It was brilliantly choreographed and for once, Jenny didn't annoy me in this episode! This episode also marks the first time a real life band is featured on the show and this becomes a sort of tradition each week for P3. Not the best episode but not the worst, watch able and still quite exciting! |

CharmedGood The Painted World "Average" There's something strange about this episode… There's something strange about this episode although I can't put my finger on what it is so until I do, I leave my introduction to this review like this!

I liked the idea of the episode although I don't think it was used as well as it could've been although, I thoroughly enjoyed the sub-plot in which Phoebe cast the smart spell. I thought the scene in which she attempted to explain 'the birds and the bees' to Jenny was acted out brilliantly. Her acting was fantastic in this episode too and she definitely stood out from Holly and Shannen which is a rare occurrence. Unfortunately, Dan once again put a downer on this episode for me. As I've said in previous reviews, he ruined season two for me (and from reading other reviews, he did the same for a lot of other people, mainly the Brian Krause (Leo) fans). A pretty mediocre episode overall which was disappointing because it was written by Constance, but as I said previously, it could've been a lot better because of the originality of the idea behind the episode. |

CharmedSuperb Morality Bites "Series classic" The ultimate lesson against using your powers to punish instead of to protect Original, dark and exciting. What more could you want from a Charmed episode?! Morality Bites stands out from the majority of other episodes in season two for it's massively dark tone and superb acting from all three leads.

The sisters' travel to the future after Phoebe has a premonition of herself being executed. Upon arriving, Prue and Piper discover that she murdered someone using her power and in the end it turns out that it all sprouted from using there powers to punish Pratt (the man with the dog at the start and the man who goes on to become the person to have Phoebe executed) for letting his dog do it's business in their driveway. I enjoyed seeing the girls' powers ten years in the future. Prues developed into a sort of telekinetic explosion, Piper was able to freeze huge areas and for long periods of time and Phoebe was able to create electricity and levitate. This episode is one of the best for Alyssa, acting wise. I really did feel for her when she was in prison, she was very convincing. The same goes for Piper and Prue, it was such a well written episode and they made it so much more! |
