MegaMan NT Warrior That Sinking Feeling Avg Score: 8.23 Total Ratings: 6 Total Reviews: 1 Users who agree: 2 |
Where do I begin? This episode starts with the events right before the finals of the N1 Grand Prix. Chaud is unhappy over the odds and all of Lan and Megaman’s friends them good luck. All this is pretty average for this series, so I wasn’t completely impressed. Then the battle started and everything changed.
The battle between Megaman and Protoman was simply amazing. It was the best fight scene I have ever seen in the entire series. The animation was beautiful and it left me on the edge of my seat. Before the battle started I figured Protoman was going to win, but once the fight got going, I wasn’t so sure. You could really see how Lan and Megaman had improved, and for a while I really though they were going to win. In the end, incredibly tense moment, though, it was Chaud and Protoman who won (like I had first though) after a spectacular Program Advance battle. In the scene immediately after the battle, Protoman starts to help Megaman up while telling him that was the best battle he’d ever fought.
At this point, I was satisfied with the episode. I also assumed that it would end with Chaud saying to Lan something similar to what Protoman had said to Megaman, Lan’s friends would congratulate him, and both he and Megaman would agree to train even harder for next time.
But all that never happens. Instead, I see the last thing you would expect to happen. Megaman shoves Protoman away and gets struck by a beam of light, instantly deleting him and totally shocking everyone else, including me. It was a completely unexpected plot twist leaving the viewer not knowing what’s going to happen in the next episode. It made the entire episode go from good to excellent in about 10 seconds.
Overall, this was my favorite episode of the first season. I can still remember the haunted look on Lan’s face in the very last scene of the episode.

Daria Arts 'n' Crass Avg Score: 9.08 Total Ratings: 33 Total Reviews: 3 Users who agree: 2 |
The plot of this episode is fairly typical of a Daria episode. Daria and Jane enter a poster for an art contest at school. Ms. Li dosen't like it so she changes it and then displays it against the girl's wishes. The girls, who have run out of options, decide to vandilize the poster in an effort to keep people form seeing it. Ms. Li gets angry but when she trys to punish the girls, Helen steps in to save them.
Out of all the Daria episodes, this one has to be my favorite. It focuses on deep and intresting characters like Daria and Jane, instead of simple characters like Kevin, Britteny, or the Fashion Club. The episode had a very common "fight the system" plot but did it in such a good way that I didn't even mind. It also had some great quotes including my favorite, the "big fat lawsuit" quote by Helen.
All in all, it didn't do much in the way of character or plot devlopment, but it kept me entartained for thrity miunts, which is the whole reason I watch this series.

Strange Days at Blake Holsey High Wormhole2 (2) Avg Score: 8.80 Total Ratings: 23 Total Reviews: 2 Users who agree: 1 |
This has got to be my favorite episode of all of Strange Days at Blake Holesy High. While it diddn't have much in the way of character devlopment, it moved the plot along and it was an excellent way to start the second season.
The episode starts with Josie getting sucked down a wormhole created by her mother. That's nothing new; it happens all the time in this series. But the thing that makes it special is that she went to a time where she allready exsisted.
This episode had some of the best scenes in a series I had ever seen. From the scene where Future Josie was hideing in Z's office when Past Josie came in, to the hilarious scene where Prof. Z discovers that the Science Club is going to blow up the punch bowl. This episode rocked!

Kim Possible Rufus in Show Avg Score: 8.50 Total Ratings: 51 Total Reviews: 2 |
This has to be one of my favorite episodes in the Kim Possible series. From the very begining it was filled with clever lines and a silly plot that somehow worked. Falsetto Jones was hilarious with his accent. Also Ron's attitude throughout the entire episode was not out of character whatsoever.
While some people may argue that this episode didn't make alot of sense (take Ron bribing the judges with a five dollar bill and the judges not reconizing that Rufus was actually a naked mole rat for instance), that isn't really the reason I watch this show. I don't usually watch TV for the realism, I watch it because it provides a nice break from reality, which is exacty what this episode did.
