Blog-Tag... O.o

Well, apparently I've been tagged. O.o That means I get to bore you guys with seven facts about me! ^.^ YAY!

  1. I have two cats... Both of which have been neutered (we had the boy done today. ;.; My poor kitty! (cries))
  2. I generally don't like girly things, but today I wore a dress for the first time in about ten years... (It's because of my luffly Doc Martens... They NEED to be worn with a dress to look right! ^.^)
  3. I'm 17, female and live in England. But most of you already knew that.
  4. *is running out of ideas because she's a boring person* Erm... My favourite characters tend to either be blonde, associated with green or traitors.  *shrugs* (Examples: Max Tate/Mizuhara, Richie Foley, Li Syaoran, Edmund Pevensie...)
  5. Speaking of green, it's my absolute favourite colour, closely followed by blue (which is the colour of my eyes, btw! ^.^)
  6. I was born with ginger hair, it turned blonde and now, due to a freak dying accident, it's ginger again. It's really irritating (on the other hand, no one assumes I'm an idiot!).
  7. *sigh* I admit that I can (usually happily) slash ANYTHING. This does not mean I don't like het relationships or anything (hell, I'm -in- one), but I seem to be reaaaaaaaaally good at finding the SLIGHTEST hint at a relationship between two guys (or two girls) and blowing it out of all proportion. (Don't worry Max, not gonna be writing anything like that. *pats head*)

Now, who to attack... *cackle*

Level 9 - Door Number 2

Whee! I guess. Door Number 2 is now my TV.com emblem.

In other news, I'm on a bloody Magiranger/Mystic Force kick again. I keep watching an episode of Mystic Force, then go watch its Magiranger counterpart. O.o; Today's eps were Stranger Within Parts 1 and 2, or the Magiranger equivalent of Acts 11 and 12 (don't ask me to write Japanese, I will probably get it wrong).

Mystic Force was much better on the Vamp side of things, but Magiranger kicked butt with the music. Go Nai! Go Mae!

Bloody Friday Nightmare! Gotta love that song.

OH MY GODS!! You want a killer opening, you got it! A.T.O.M. has geared it into overdrive on the season 2 first episode, Deception. The animation is even better than last season, though I'm not entirely sure about the new three-D graphics angle (only seems to be used on the structures and once in the intro sequence). Speaking of which... Ah! I don't care, we all know my favourite character is Shark, but... Ack! No! Kid's cartoon, should not have super cute poses like that! Stop making him so adorable!

No, wait, ignore that! Don't change him! Ack, I'm just never going to watch the intro again, lest I squeal each time...

Ahem.

Like I was saying before that random fangirl moment.

One of my problems (heck, my only real problem) was Lioness' bed wear... Hm. Shirt. Overlarge guy's shirt. Are the animators trying to suggest something? I mean, it's a little... suggestive, isn't it? But whatever. Shark's slippers were hilarious - they squeaked! We need to make them official merch.

Apart from that (and the fact that Tilian's arm didn't bleed... *pout*), it was fantabulous.

If the rest of the season is this good, I think I'm going to die from joy... :D

Oh. My. Gods.

In those three little words, you can pretty much sum up the amazing qualities of Alpha Teens On Machines. A.T.O.M. has brilliant animation, fantastic characters, interesting and involved storylines and it's now happily starting its second season. Which, by the way, is amazing. Simply amazing.

*shudder* Ew, arm...

Ahem.

Anyway, yes. Brilliant programme. Can't sing it's praises enough. And yet I need a few more words to be able to submit this review...

My favourite part of the show is the action. And the comedy. The characters... The music... The corny banter... All of it, I just can't really pick!

It's just fantastic!

Vamos!

When I finished watching this episode (today, in fact), my first thought was "Yes! Mr Lee is up to no good! I knew he was making a clone of some sort!", after he nicked Hawk's and Shark's hair (though, it makes me wonder what he took as a sample from King, who has no hair on his head). However, I was disappointed that they basically revealed this fact to end the season. That sucked.
Overall, the quality of the episode was good. Axel/Lioness fans got a decent dose of entertainment (unless I'm confusing it with one of the other episodes I watched today - then again, it's in practically every episode, isn't it?). The fact that Paine didn't set off the bomb that 'killed' Sebastian Manning was a nice twist (and I'm still convinced that Dragon is Sebastian! I will not be deterred!), though I was slightly disappointed to see the gang get taken to prison - Samantha might break them back out though, right? I suppose it leaves things open for new villains (cough Mr Lee cough), or maybe one of the good guys actually going bad this time (unlike in Double Image). Er, excuse that, I like the entire good-turn-bad thing. It's fun.
Anyway, a good, if not slightly cruel, way to finish the season. I'm sure I'm not the only one tempted to track down the makers and demand a second season quickly.

This was fabulous. I mean, apart from the fact that the gang have been conned, the second or third time this season for certain members (hint hint), it's great! And Eddie didn't get conned today! What was with that? It's blasphemy! Which is the only reason this doesn't get ten marks... Well, it WAS slightly confusing too...
The silent film scenes were fantastic, especially with Mickey portraying Charlie Chaplin in a most excellent manner. Go Adrian Lester! It was also fantastic for regular BBC fans to see their almost-copyrighted ghost scene - a nice reminder for any Narnia fans out there (cough). The episode was, overall, fantastic, but I STILL didn't hear what the product was! Toilet/ what?!
Here's to hoping the next three are as good!

This episode is fantastic. The very idea of the challenge itself is awesome, especially the part about being butt-naked in the middle of London. Need to tan that butt, Danny! *drools*
Ahem... *wipes away saliva*
The episode is classically funny, especially the scenes with poor Eddie being forever conned... And just when he thinks he's beaten Albert, he gets his ass handed to him because of courtesy!!
Also, as Mickey gets conned himself, and dear old Danny twice, it's a seriously clever episode. Don't you feel sorry for him.

And crossing himself in a synagogue (sp?)... Danny, Danny, Danny...

A fantastic episode, folks. Truly great.

Random, crazy, obsessive, fangirl... Yeah, that pretty much sums it up, though I loathe to admit to the last one... I have a borderline-crazy affinity for the colour green, so be warned... Current obsession? A.T.O.M.!

Dead Beat - A Short Film

This is a short film that I made for university. It had to be 60 seconds long (actual footage - not credits - but mine ended up being 66 seconds), and it had to follow the theme Recreate the moment after a crime. Hope you enjoy it! Please comment.
