And it was pretty much all for nothing cause I just changed my major XDDDD But I don't mind.  An extra year of learning wont hurt. lol  But at least I get three whole months off.  I need it too.  Too bad I still have to work. And now I'll be there 40 hours a week. But hey at least its more money I just got a raise!!!

Top Chef Season 3

I am sooo exctied. I just saw a promotional commercial for the next season of Top Chef on Bravo.  They didn't really give us anything of relavence, like if there are any changes in judges or hosts or even who the contestants are.  But at least we know that there is going to be another season of the show.  But the one thing I am upset about is that Project Runway will not be airing for a fourth season before the third season of Top Chef.

Final Fantasy...I seriously need to finish one of those games

I have 1 and 2 on Playstation, 3 on Nintendo DS, 4 5 and 6 on GameBoy Advance, 7 on Playstation, and 10 on Playstation 2 and I have still yet to finish an entire game.  I have just started playin FF X again so hopefully I will be able to get through it all the way to the end.  I still need to buy 8 9 and 12 (I have no desire to buy 11, I hate MMO's) and then i just am waiting for Square Enix to bring 13 and 13 Versus to the X360....so I can only hope so I can own the whole series.

Welcome To The King of Iron Fist Tournament 1...no 2...no 3...crap..I mean 5

I bought a used copy of Tekken 5 a couple of days ago and just got around to playing it and I noticed that there were classic arcade versons of the three original Tekken games.  I played a little of the three games and I was surprised how playable Tekken 3 was...even by todays standards.  There are some rough areas (which were smoothed out in the retool of Tekken 3...Tekken Tag Tournament), but over all still very playable, I was not so thrilled with Tekken 2, and Tekken 1 was just a nightmare to me.  But the one thing I was happy about was there were absoulutely no load times at all for any of these games in between fights.  Just jamming the start button as fast as you can a couple of times will get you straight to your next battle.

Here Comes the Challenge

*Spoiler Alert*

I never thought that Shear Genius was up to par with the other reality shows on Bravo, but after this episode I can say that it is up there with Project Runway and Top Chef. The short cut challenge was 'sheer genius' itself. Putting the stylists into teams of two, sticking them in the mall, and give them two hours to persuade shoppers to get haircuts from them. Tabitha and Tyson had the right idea charging $50 to $70 haircuts. And it showed because they won the challenge. Because of this win I think that they should not been eliminated. I think, like Tabitha said, that it was mainly Tyson's fault for their loss in the Wedding Elimination Challenge. He totally missed the mark on the bridesmaid, but I thought the mother's hairstyle was great. Tabitha's was a little out there, but it was good for wedding hair. Tyson may not be the best stylist in the competition, but he is surly better than Ben and Dr. Boogie. Tabitha was THE BEST stylist in the competition, no doubt about it. Eliminating Dr. Boogie and Ben would have really upped the competition. But now that Tabitha and Tyson are gone, it is a for sure that Daisy and Anthony will be in the finals.

Painkiller Jane is a lame attempt from Sci-fi for a great action series, but they seriously need to stop trying, the big studios have you beat with shows like Heroes, Prisonbreak, and Smallville. Stick with shows you know can work for you network like Eureka (Now that is a damn good show). If you are curious about this show, don't waste your precious time, you would be better off watching you least favorite show ever. Seriously, go outside and be with the outside people. Don't watch Painkiller Jane...I repeat...dont' watch Painkiller Jane. You will regret it for the rest of your life...seriously.

Shear Genius may not be the best of Bravo's reality competition shows, but it surly isn't a steaming pile of crap. It is worth a watch for anyone who is a fan of Project Runway, Top Chef, or Top Design. Jacqueline Smith was a great choice for a host, and the same goes for Sally Hershberger as the head judge (c'mon she INVENTED Meg Ryan's signature haircut!). Now for Bravo's 4th try with this formula, it is getting a little old, but with Project Runway not coming back for a while (DAMN YOU TIM GUNN) we have to have some kind of Bravo entertainment to keep us in our seats and on the channel. But overall this show is not that great, but it is still worth it to watch at least on episode to give it a shot. My not be a Project Runway, but it is still entertaining, even if it is in a watered down way.

I was very disappointed with the 'Test Run' of Kate Walsh's potential new spin off show 'Private Practice'. This show will take her completely out of character and it will ruin Grey's Anatomy. First of all...Addison in not a Sunny LA kinda girl, shes a New Yorker, and a stereotypical one at that. She wears dark, mostly black, clothes all of the time. Every time they cut to LA I felt the saturation of the picture was brought up 200%. And seriously why take someone out of a show that she is doing so well in. I will give the show a chance if it does air, only because of the other members of the cast that will be in it (Chris Lowell, Taye Diggs, and Merrin Dungey). ABC...SERIOUSLY...DONT DO IT!!!

Food for the People

Althought they may have complained that there is no reason for them to be doing this challenge because it deals with food for the common man, only 38% of people eat at fine dining restaruants. They may not have to cook food like this everyday, but that is exactly why this is a challenge. It is put into action to test their skills and their limits. This shows their versatility, and it was a good move on the producers part to put this challenge in. The ice cream part was interesting because most of them have never made ice cream before. The ones that I thought were the most innovative were the breakfast ice cream and the avacado, vanilla, and marshmellow ice cream. The Waffles and and bacon ice creams gives new meaning to Ice Cream for breakfast, and the Avacado, Vanilla, and marshmellow ice cream gives a new take on classicc flavors. I think they would be great to mass prodeuce.

As for the elimination challnege, this was my favorite part of the episode. It is great incentive to have the winner get their item on the menu of the restaurant. And the insperation of the dish being an adult take on a childhood favrotie was a great idea. Most of the dishes that were in the top three were dishes I had had as a child myself so I totally related with their choices. My two faortites were Cliff\'s Grown-Up Mac & Cheese and Fish Sticks, and Betty\'s Grilled Chesse w/ Portabello Mushrooms and Roasted Red Pepper Soup. Both of them, I had variations of as a child, and they seemed both very well prepared. Cliff\'s dish actually reminded me of Dave\'s Mac and Cheese in last seasons episode \"Nappa Valley\" I am sure the judges weren\'t expecting a Mac and Cheese which is why they were impressed becuase he really did something no one expected, and did it well.

Over all, this episode was awesome. I watched it a few times after I delted the episode off my Tivo. My favorite episode so far in season 2 and one of my favorite episodes out of the entire series.
