Monty Oum (If you love action, you'll love this)
Has anyone heard of him? I think he should be a true and great internet celebrity that EVERYONE should know about (like Smosh from YouTube). He makes CGI videos that're usually epic fight videos from video games we've loved, played, or at least heard of. This includes Halo, Metroid Prime, and Final Fantasy. Here are two videos I found that were made by the great Monty Oum. They're pretty long, but trust me, you'll love these.
Haloid: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=gHPUPqd0P9g (6:10)
Dead Fantasy Parts 1 & 2: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ryH1TB4gEUY (15:39)
I think he has another, but these two are my favorites.
Haloid shows Master Chief of Halo fight off the Covenant, but a new enemy appears and fights him, but something happens that forces them to work together.
Dead Fantasy shows the girls of Dead or Alive facing the girls of Final Fantasy (I don't know which. I think it was 12 or 13). The fight gets REALLY good near the end.
I hope you guys find out that this guy named Monty Oum is a brilliant video maker. Sure, some of the moves aren't exactly original, but they're still kick-ass.

Blog of 4/24/08
Yeah, I don't know what to call this blog, lol. A couple of stuff I'd just like to say.
1. I didn't make a blog about the new and kickass Avatar trailer because I knew people did it before me and stuff. But I am so PSYCHED for this!! I really want to see the flying warships again, the Suki and Ty Lee fight, even crazier Azula, and, of course, the finale of finales! I feel VERY bad for any Avatar fan that'll have to miss this baby.
2. My dad's birthday was yesterday, so now he's 41. Haha, last year, we, my family, were teasing him for turning 4 decades old by saying all the things like "you're a year closer to using a cane" and stuff. This year, however, a simple "happy b-day!" was enough. ![]()
3. I saw Windtalkers earlier today on DVD and plan on watching Alvin & The Chipmunks for the first time after I finish this blog. Windtalkers is a great war/action movie involving things in World War II that I never knew (using Native American language codes against the Japanese). So if you like war movies, this is a must-see. It's not like it came out last year, but hey, I loved it.
4. Man, oh man, an odd twist happened for my FanFics' reviewing on FF.net. Last time, my A:tLA FF was getting all the reviews (it has a total of 91 now) and all the others were hardly getting any hits. Now, I have a Halo FF that's getting OK hits and few reviews while the other and new Avatar FF has fewer hits and fewer reviews, which is odd since my Halo fic only has 4 chapters and my Avatar one has 7.
5. If you love parodies and funny videos by an actual good actor that isn't Smosh or Angry Video Game Nerd (both are awesome, I know), I encourage y'all to check out:
http://www.thatguywiththeglasses.com/
This website has ThatGuyWithTheGlasses as the main guy and he does the ...in 5 seconds movies and The Nostalgia Critic review videos that review the bad movies (like Angry Video Game Nerd with video games). The 5 second videos aren't 5 seconds, but the point is that you get the idea that it sums up the movie (in a way) and most will make you lol. The critic vids review bad movies that usually we enjoyed as kids (if you're between 13-17) such as Space Jam and Pokemon: The First Movie. They prove how bad those movies actually were and makes fun of them. He even sometimes makes fun of good or ok films like Cloverfield recreating the film with his hand-held camera.
Seriously, you won't be disappointed. ![]()

My Mentally Challenged MySpace and Avatar News
After many, many months, I finally updated my MySpace, though it still isn't as pimped out as most out there. All I added was a new cover photo, my "About Me" info, and a music playlist. So... uh... yeah... wazzup? ![]()
I did hear about the Avatar news mentioned here and on DeviantART. Honestly, I think it sounds too good to be true. I'm trying not to get my hopes up that much in case it was all a late April Fool's joke or another Rick Roll set-up. Still, a part of me is still REALLY excited for this.
If you don't know about the news I'm talking about, look on this site. I'm sure you'll find it. ![]()
Thanks for readin'!

P.S.
I tried to post some Halo 3 screenshots, but the stupid thing can't read the "HTML" from PhotoBucket. ![]()
Avatar is the Favorite Cartoon at KCA 2008!!
BOO-YAH!! Avatar: The Last Airbender beat The Simpsons, Ed Edd n' Eddy, and best of all, Spongebob Squarepants. They didn't make a big deal about it, but I cheered when I saw the bottom of the screen saying:
Favorite Cartoon:
Avatar
We, the fandom, have proven that we can unite and make things happen. People had doubt about Nickelodeon making SBSP win, but they were honest, and it has won. Thank you all that have voted for Avatar, and to all those who thought SBSP would win without a doubt, IN YO FACES!!

PROS: You have this anime show that's as good as Dragon Ball Z when we were younger, and that's saying something. The show is mixed with such story in each saga that it keeps you watching every episode, and once you're into it, you're on your own mission to know about every character and every saga.
The powers in this are also like DBZ, but much better. They actually talk about it and describe how they do it as if it were an everyday thing.
Also, every power in a new character is different from any of the other characters and keeps it original. From the power to move faster than the eye can catch to reproducing bones, this allows it.
The character design is also unique. Every character acts and looks differently. I sometimes wonder how long it took the creator to think of the stuff. Every person who likes it has at least 3 characters they love, and the rest they think is also cool, and maybe a few that they don't like (Sasuke in my opinion: not a angsty-guy fan, sorry).
If you like the show, you're addicted to it. Period. I'm so addicted that I actually have a FanFic being made on it. I won't go into detail what it's about though.
This isn't really related why I like the show, but I can't help mentioning it; the number of AMV's on YouTube and other video sites is incredible, and the number of them that are just pure rad are high as well. I knew a couple of videos that had over 5 million views and the average rating was 4 1/2 stars out of 5.
Now the stuff no one likes to read if they're hardcore fans, the cons.
CONS: Some of the filler can be very annoying and slow down things. This is in most anime that I know of, so I guess it's something you MUST get by to love anime. The filler in the Shippuuden part went WAY too far with the Sasori fight in my opinion however.
Some characters can be a little annoying. For example, in the earlier part of the series (before Shippuuden), the character Sakura was useless. I'm a guy, but I personally love seeing girls kicking ass since it's not as often, just as long as they aren't total tomboys or something in that category.
I just can't watch the English Dub. No matter what, I just can't stand some of the voice acting and the censored bits. Some voice acting is okay (Steven Blum as Zabuza. Steven, I think, also voices Master Chief in the Halo video game saga), but some are dumb and ruin it. Naruto himself in the early part of the series kept saying "Believe it" so much that I couldn't stand it. The censored bits also make it bad. I know they do it so the rating can be PG, but seriously, rather than "drunk", they put "a-loof"?!
CONCLUSION: Besides the cons that can be bypassed, this show is great. If you like action and anime, this is a MUST watch. If you just like action, I'll say you'll like this better than Pokemon and other kid shows that are anime.
Final Rating: 9.5
Thanks for reading!

Overall, favorite episode out of all, and done a great job with connecting to the real game as well, including real places like "Azeroth" and "Goldshire" fomr the game. And lastly, congrats to the guys of SP for winning the emmy and for Blizzard for helping them win it!

iCarly Avg Score: 8.76 Total Ratings: 846 Total Reviews: 171 |
"iCarly" reminds me of what people act like behind the webcam if popular on sites like YouTube, which makes it funny and imaginative. Many of the jokes come from comments too, such as "Getting 34,000 hits/views" and "That made me lol I peed myself". This makes me think that Dan Schnieder (creator of "Drake and Josh" as well as this) is one of the people out there who seem to know what we want to see; new and unoriginal.
The cast as well is great. They picked up Miranda from "Drake and Josh" and does her part as good as she is on DaJ. They also have another guy from DaJ who played as one of the theater workers called "Crazy Steve" and acts similar in this and, in my opinion, the funniest character, and plays as Carly's brother (if I'm correct). The other 2 I've never seen before, but they too are doing a good job. This keeps up and this will be the new DaJ!
Thanks for reading, and hopefully I won't have angry fans on my back that love the show since I didn't give it a 10, but I'm givin' my honest opinion!

Also, because of the crew from "Saving Private Ryan" is in this, it has top-notch effects and graphics. I actually thought I was watching an Academy Award winning movie when I watched the first episode!
Oh, and David Schwimmer from "Friends" is a cranky Sergeant, lol.

Friends' Videos
This is my first attempt at making an AMV; my first time using Movie Maker as well. It is probably not the best there is.
Fan made video found on Youtube. Made with the song Chop Suey by System of a Down, and Devil May Cry 3 clips
