Animazement 2008

Hi People!

How goes it? Well, for me ok. So there have been so many things going on in the last month. We went to Disneyworld, completely awesome time.

Then Evilg and I went to Animazement in Durham. It was great to see all the cos-players. We saw like a million L's from Death Note, a few Lights even a Ryuk. Almost every Arrancar from Bleach. There were a few Inuyashas, Kagomes, a Sango and Miroku. And of course Naruto characters everywhere. We had so much fun.

For those of you who may not know Kiba Inuzuka is my upmost fave character from Naruto, and I got to meet and take pics with his American voice actor, Kyle Hebert! He was so super nice. He also does the voice for Aizen on Bleach and the narrator of Dragon Ball Z. Another actor we met was Vic Mignogna, who voices Ed on Full Metal Alchemist. (and Ikkaku on Bleach and Broly on Dragon Ball Z) They were totally great guys.

Today my six year old, Jose, had his Kindergarten Graduation, or as he called it Congraduation. Of course I cried cause my baby is getting older. He's a first grader now!

So what are you guys up to for the summer? Work? TV? Being completely lazy? That's the option I'd go with.

Super Fast Quick Blog.

Hey guys! Pies are in the oven, and I have a ton of other stuff to do before everyone comes over tomorrow for turkey dinner. Everyone means almost 30 people, so I only have time to say, I am thankful for each and everyone of you here.

My old friends from the Avatar forums, my new friends from the Naruto forums, and those of you I've met along the way. Thank you for being my friend here, and making a 36 year old lady feel like a teenager once a day. I love each of you, and pray for you all when I think of my friends. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and are filled with love of family and friends.

WTH Is Wrong With Me...Sasuke and Sakura?!?!

So I watch Naruto, like many of you do. As many of you know I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, dislike Sasuke Uchiha. (traitor to his village...ok wait, breath...Itachi is so much stronger (sorry sly)...breath it's not a I Hate Sasuke blog) Ok back to my point, as much as I dislike Sasuke, I have lately been over run with an obession that is quite apparent in my banner!! I mean Sakura, is my fave female character on that show, and I know how much stronger she has become without HIM. In my mind I know she might be better off with Rock Lee, Naruto, or Neji. (but not Kiba cause he's mine) I still can't help but search for pics that look like this

OR THESE

or OMG THIS

When I know This is What Should REALLY Happen

Just in case you were wondering I'm not a fan of Naruto and Hinata.

MTV coes up with another idea on how to bring young people together. Next has a contestant looking for love with unkown people on a RV. The dater begins with one person from the RV coming out and going on a mini date. The dater decides whether or not she/he wants to continue to spend time with the datee. If not the dater screams NEXT datee 1 returns to the RV to send out the next datee. Each elimindated dater receives a dollar for each minute on the date. The show is great. The dates are creative and fall in line with today's trend of 8 minute dates so many clubs or coffee houses are offering. The real funny comes from the camera left on the RV with the waiting datees. They talk trash about each other and the dater. The snipits on the different datees are also very hiliarious.

Oobi
Avg Score: 6.09    Total Ratings: 39    Total Reviews: 19
Oobi is a children\\\'s show, featuring a Oobi and his sister Uma. The characters are hands with eyes placed on top, and they talk by opening and closing the hand. The show is very entertaining for younger television viewers. The brother and sister live with their Granpooh. The show carries the main characters through different aspects of a toddler\'s life. There are trips to the doctor, first day of school, and even a new babysitter. The adults help the Oobi and Uma, deal with a range of emotions. Oobi\'s basic concept gives children the ability to have Oobi with them always just by opening and closing their hands.

The Ultimate Fighter

The ultimate fighter teams up different men for the goal of obtaining a contract with the UFC. The men compete in challenges based on their weight class. This show also features what happens in the home the men share. The end of each episode features a match to bring each winner closer to the contract goal. This show is entertaining for both men and women. It gives sports fan atheletic aspect and the reality junkie a dose of drama.

Mind of Mencia
Avg Score: 8.54    Total Ratings: 1297    Total Reviews: 181
Mind of Mencia is a very funny show. The sketch comedy doesn't hold back. He offends every race and religion equally. The weekly Duh report reviews different news stories of the week. He rewards stupidity. He is not ashamed to use children in his skits to prove a point either.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

The first season was great. I saw families who were really trying to make ends meet and had to sacrafice fixing up their home. Then the episodes began where each week someone in the family was sick. I thought okay now they are trying to make cry. I think the show would be better if they just didn't help only families with special needs. Yes they deserve it, but so do so many other families in this country that do not have a family member sick.
