The Censoring of the Rolling Stones at the Super Bowl!

Oh, my God is this what we have come to as Americans. Are we such a delicate Society that a group of 60 plus year old men are able to offend people so easily with a few words of a song...? People it was not as if they pulled a body part out and flashed the world a Breast (which if you blinked that year you didn’t catch either).... It was words... WORDS!... What every happened to that whole "Freedom of Speech" thing we were once famous for? People, if you are so easily offended by some words from some 60 year olds or have kids that are easily offended... Change the F'ing channel... Let’s be honest here anyway... It wasn’t as if they were even saying one of the "Seven" NO-No words... They were saying an innuendo... That if you understood to begin with, means you aren’t that wholesome as you would like to think... Come on people... Let’s stop being so easily offended and start acting like Adults... This was a F'ing football game... Not F'ing "Romper Room"
Moreover, for anyone who thinks I am some bleeding liberal… I’m not! I am actually a conservative that is getting tired of seeing my America being hijacked by the Christian Coalition and the Touchy Feely P.C.’s… People the only way this is ever going to stop is if you make your selves heard… That’s why they are winning and the rest of America is losing… Cause the only people the FCC and Networks hear from is them…

Dear GOD... Its almost 360 time!!!

It has now been a few days since my last entry… And even though it still stings when I think of Arrested not being on air in a few weeks at least I can take satisfaction in knowing that in less then a week I will be one of the lucky few 1.5 million to dedicate their every waking moment to Xbox 360 when it comes out! I am already thinking of excuses for when I call out of work for the two days prior to Thanksgiving… So far I have it narrowed down to Brain Tumor or Herpes. One gives me sympathy from my co workers and the other one sketches out everyone to the point that they don’t want me any where around them… Either way though it should be good for two or three days off… The only problem with the whole tumor thing is eventually I have to produce a scar or something to keep the lie going… Wait a minute! That may be worth a week of off time come Christmas… Therefore, tumor it is…

Happy gaming next week to my fellow vid-idiots!

Say it aint so Joe!!!

... One-second folks as I wipe the tears from my eyes...

Sob...

Snot bubble...

Sob…

There are few times in a grown mans life when I feel it is acceptable to cry.

1. Your child is born.
2. Your favorite Pro Team wins a Championship.
3. Your favorite dog dies... However, never if a cat dies!
4. When your favorite show on TV is cancelled after 3 years of never being able to gains viewers.

... The first three I experienced before today... And the 4th I just experienced.

The show in question is “Arrested Development”. I do not understand how such a well-written show with such a great cast and such a loyal fan base could not survive and yet it did not.

So now, I must go and schedule for a frontal lobotomy... It’s the only way I will be able to live in a Post-Arrested Society… Look out “Still Standing”… Look out “Hope and Faith”… Look out “Yes Dear” I guess I have to start watching you turds instead… Sobbbbbbbb…

I dont know why I havent watch this show.... But I could kick myself for waiting so long to. About two weeks ago we got Verizon Fios and with it came "On Demand" and one day I was surfing through it when I decided to catch this show that everybody kept talking about... And from the very first episode I was hooked on the WEED. I love this show... And I love the cast... I will now be pushing this show on everybody I know. a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a

At the end of last year I had pretty much reserved myself to the fact that SNL had long since jumped the shark, as far as quality was concerned. And a few episodes into this year it looked like my guess was correct. But something strange happened in the middle of the season... They went on strike and got their MOJO back. Since the break this show has been POINT ON. For the first time in years I actually catch myself laughing out loud. That hasnt happened since the early 90's. So I say, "Writers go on strike once a year." I will be waiting at my tv when you get back from strike!

I like the quirkiness of it all… It reminds me a little of Scrubs… I think that with time this may flesh out to be a good show! It does not hurt that there are some good characters on the show… I especially liked Judy Greer's Character, she reminded me of a female JD from Scrubs… I also liked the fact that it's set in High School… I don't know how long it's been since there has been a good school comedy? We can all relate to High School… We've all been there. a a a a a a a a

... Rule number 1 to being a Super Hero. You need a slew of great Super Villains. And to me a town with a canister with an NBC (Nuclear biological chemical) agent is not a Super Villain... That's a retread of the show 24. Another episode is her fighting her predecessor in the rain... Another is her fighting her predecessor again... The point is... This show is a hamster wheel and it is going nowhere.

I am a little embarrassed to say this… However, this show is growing on me. I like the underlying satire of the show. And to be honest with you… I think the character Nick has the potential to become a great protagonist over the coarse of the show… I am not talking a warm and fuzzy feel for you protagonist but nevertheless a good character to root for… A lot like Frasier in the beginning on Cheers. So please if you guys will go into the show not expecting much you may find that you like the show more then you thought you would…
