GTA iv
I give up. I haven't even unlocked Manhattan and it's too hard.

The best beer on the planet.
Bell's Oberon Ale. Robust, but summery.

TV with higher definition picture.
It's still exciting. I watch stuff I don't even like if the resolution is high enough.

Video games
They now have a video game where you kill zombies. I pretend I'm playing a video game where you kill humans.

Cars
I hate cars because they're expensive and useful. Life is easier when things are either one or the other.

Metalocalypse Dethrecord Avg Score: 10.00 Total Ratings: 7 Total Reviews: 1 |
This is what I want Metalocalypse to be. No wasting time, just a quick news story setting up the situation, and then it's pure Dethklok. The world needs a new Dethklok album, and Dethklok has to finish it in time. Unfortunately, Nathan insists on recording in a suit of armor, Swisgar's guitar buzzes if he touches the ground, Pickles can't get any french toast, and Toki and Murderface don't have enough creative input.
Toki and Murderface's song, "Takin' It Easy" (with an apostrophe), is awesome. The other members are right when they say it doesn't sound like a Dethklok song. It sounds way too good to be a Dethklok song. Murderface's singing and Toki's backup singing is excruciatingly funny.

Xavier: Renegade Angel Avg Score: 7.39 Total Ratings: 51 Total Reviews: 9 |
Xavier was created by John Lee and Vernon "Towelie" Chatman, who created Wonder Showzen. Wonder Showzen was a Sesame Street parody on the surface, which is a pretty cheesy premise. But it also contained some of the darkest, most subversive, and most bizarre comedy ever. It's amazing that it ever made it onto TV at all.
Xavier takes all the best parts of Wonder Showzen's style of humor and drops the uncomfortable on-the-street sketches and boring audience-pranking. The video game cut scene look of the show is pretty ugly, but it would be foolish to expect anything these people do to be popular enough to get the budget to look good.

The Venture Brothers Avg Score: 8.99 Total Ratings: 1838 Total Reviews: 83 |
I guess this is just a foul-mouthed spoof of Johnny Quest on the surface, but my god what a universe they've crafted. Each episode works very well by itself, but there are so many callbacks to earlier episodes, and you can find tidbits of future stories by going back and watching old episodes. The show generously rewards close attention and multiple watchings.
The show is also really funny. All the continuity and backstory wouldn't be worth a button if it weren't funny. If it weren't funny, this would just be a soap opera. It's more like The Office, but even funnier and without the excruciating uncomfortableness. Also, all music references on the show are very hip (Bowie, Iggy Pop, Bjork, Foetus, Lydia Lunch, The Damned, Bauhaus), and very few shows have good taste in music.

The Simpsons Apocalypse Cow Avg Score: 8.06 Total Ratings: 115 Total Reviews: 9 |
Besides some tepid montage jokes, and the "cud" line, this episode had gold-medal jokes. This is one of those "guest star girl" episodes like the one with Winona Ryder, or the one with Natalie Portman, or the one with Kathy Griffin. Many of them are good, but it is definitely an obstacle to watching in my mind. Zooey Deschanel is perfectly fine, and does nothing to ruin this episode.
The Tress Macneille joke pleased me very much. Since I'm such a geek that I can always identify the actor who plays every character in an episode, Homer's line was exactly what I was thinking at that moment.

King of the Hill Trans-Fascism Avg Score: 8.47 Total Ratings: 31 Total Reviews: 4 Users who agree: 1 |
It's a bit difficult to tell what the exact message of this episode is, but it's overwhelmingly a pro-individual liberty, pro-individual responsibility, and pro-free market message. If you want to, you could interpret it as a pro-drug legalization message with unhealthy food substituting for drugs. This is basically a South Park episode disguised as a King of the Hill episode. I'd say more, but the episode says it so much better.
You don't need a Ron Paul bumper sticker, however, to appreciate this episode. This is a hilarious episode, and way more lighthearted and fun than a King of the Hill episode usually is. I'm a casual watcher of King of the Hill, and watch only because I tuned in for the Simpsons and Family Guy. I usually like the show, but this one left me completely flabbergasted with amazement.
