Compared to last week's episode, this one was a helleva lot better. Brittney may have enough problems in real life, but that won't stop the south park creators from bashing her. After she fails to kill herself (leaving her without much of her head) she is still forced to work. The media still won't leave her be, so Kyle and Stan try to get her to freedom. What surprised me was what happened at the end, a very nice tribute to the story "the Lottery" where Brittney is killed (as a sacrifice) for a better harvest. Much better then last weeks more middle finger giving episode. If they can keep episodes as good as this, this season will pull through.

The Super Best Friends

Before 9/11, and before Muslims complained about and threatened Denmark, there were the Super Best Friends. It is funny how they make David Blain look like an evil man, and while I like how they parody the "super friends", I only wonder if they will ever come back. What i like about this episode is how they made the religious prophets have powers (i.e. Jesus master carpentry skills, mowsuns physic link, and Krishna acting as the wonder twins powers) and the way they defeat the giant stoned Abraham Lincoln was indeed hilarious. Still, it's a pity that Muslims can't take a joke, cause due to Mohammad being in this episode, i doubt it will air again.

What starts off as a investigation to plane-nappings quickly becomes a fight to stop the Decepticons newest plans. We start off with Hassan getting harassed by smugglers, but quickly switch the Aerialbots entering the Middle east from above. A distress signal draws them to a area within the end of a canyon, but as Sky Dive mentions, “It’s the perfect spot for an-“ Onslaught appears “Ambush!!” The Aerialbots are forced to fight, as Slingshot is forced and sealed in a cave by Blast Off, leaving four. Prime, Jazz, Hoist and Ratchet arrive and send the Combaticons packing. They immediately focus on getting Slingshot out, taking him back to the nearest headquarters where Ratchet repairs him. Slingshot still feels ‘edgy’ about flying and is without a weapons console. Sky Dive decides to stay there, and get captured by the plane-nappers, Slingshot joining him since he plans not to fly for a while. The two that night not only get taken apart, but are taken away to the Bazaar, where their parts are built into cars. Hassan tries to join the smugglers, but fails, suspecting Ali, the head hancho, is hiding something big. While following them back to the palace, Hassan stumbles upon the two Aerialbots and forms a alliance with them. Back at the palace, Megatron is not only creating a drone air fleet of planes, but also a flying battle sphinx. Slingshot uses a short circuit upon a panel to evade being rebuilt and destroyed by the Decepticons. The two rebuilt, but Slingshots chest is missing. Hassan gives him the panel of a Rolls Royce to cover his chest. Slingshot likes it a lot, but the two are immediately are alerted that their comrades are on their way. Ramjet, Vortex and Blast Off use three drone jets to take on the two Aerialbots, or three when Sky Dive goes in. Hassan, being shown a weapons console, goes into the sphinx to find one. While the three in the skies (Silverbolt, Sky Dive, and Air Raid) are winning the fight, the fight, the Combaticons decide to form Bruticus. Slingshot, even without a weapons console, physically tries to delay their combination in vain, and after taking a beating flight with Blast Off, is thrown onto the sphinx, where the hairs of it try to crush him. Hassan, having the weapons console and trapped when the Sphinx took off, gives Slingshot the weapons console, giving him the power to break free. They then go off, using a cable to trip Bruticus (Connecting it to Brawl’s cannon part and pulling it around swindles part, and roping it around). Fireflight finally arrives, and the five combine to form Superion. While they seem to have an advantage, the sphinx fires it’s cannons, forcing Superion on the ground. However, a kick to the torso of the Sphinx sends it into an oil tower. The Aerialbots separate and trick Bruticus into sliding towards the crashed Sphinx. Taking flight, the Aerialbots set blaze to the oil and with one big explosion send Bruticus, Megatron, and Rumble away. Ali is captured, but the Aerialbots decide to leave him to Prince Jamaal, wherever he is. Hassan reveals his true identity, surprising Ali. Slingshot feels a bit down, still having the hood ornament of the Rolls Royce. Jamaal ashores him that it is find if he takes it, as Slingshot will always be a Rolls Royce to him. A good episode, especially seeing the Aerialbots in this episode proves they are one of the best combiner teams around. At least in my opinion.

An episode that shows not only the orgins of Optimus Prime, but also how Slingshot and the three others (but mostly Slingshot) finally learn the real truth about Decepticons. We start off with a nice dogfight between Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp against the Aerialbot five. The Aerialbots easily take down Thundercracker and Skywarp, and Starscream dumps the captured leaders. The Aerialbots rescue them while the three jets escape to Decepticon headquarters. Returning to the Ark, Air Raid (by the voice) makes a comment about Starscream taking off fast. Ratchet is angered, as is Ironhide when the Sky dive and Slingshot seem to find them more superior. Prime however points out that they are still young (Born a few weeks ago) and they will eventually learn. Teletran cuts in, as high energy readings from Cybertron gives the Autobots a new objective.

Skywarp, getting repaired by Thundercracker, mutters about how his wing was broken by those "punks" (Aerialbots). Megotron enters, very angered by their failure, knowing now his sky supremecy is threatened. Soundwave alerts him that the autobots have departed for cybertron, as Megatron asks if the aerialbots are with him. Hearing that it's possible, he smiles, claiming he will rid himself of those miserable jets. Arriving on cybertron, Starscream asks what the cronosphere is, as Megatron answers that it is a time machine he planned to steal energy from the time before the war, but now plans to use it to trap the aerialbots in the past. Omega, having burnt most of his fuel, shuts down after landing on cybertron. The aerialbots and autobots split up, as the aerialbots (excluding silverbolt) ponder if they are on the right side. Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp attack, the aerialbots wish to learn more about the decepticons. Silverbolt contacts optimus, who knows it is a trap. Silverbolt follows the four, and walks right into the cronosphere, as Megatron tries to send them to the beggining of time. Prime stops him buy destroying the machine and forcing the decepticons to retreat. However, he only stopped the five at 9million years in the past. THe autobots decide to repair the controls. Back in the past, the Aerialbots admire the world, and befriend Orion Pax. When Orion and his friend dion see a new robots that can fly, he is astonished. Silverbolt points out that just because they have a ability dosn't mean they are good, but is completely ignored. While getting back to work, Orion meets Megatron, who after learning the bunker was where they stored energy (energon cubes by the looks of things) betrays him and severly damages both him and Ariel. The Aerialbots arrive too late. Back in the future, Megatron plots to get back the Cronosphere, and Shockwave points out a old Guardian robot (who seem to strike fear in Thundercracker and Skywarp). Megatron however claims it is an ally, and even without a head, it will manage. The Aerialbots search for someone to repair him,as slingshot reveals his hatred for megatron but when reaching a young Alpha Trion, is turned down. Silverbolt begs him to look at Orion, and seeing a strong spirit within him gives Alpha an idea, to reconstruct him entirely. Megatron's drones continue the attack, but are then attacked by Guardian robots. They fall back. The four Aerialbots grow impatient, but as Alpha reveals Orion is finished, we find that he has not only recreated Orians body, but revived him into another bot... the new defender... Optimus Prime. THe Aerialbots are shocked to see him. He admits he was wrong about Megatron, and he admired him because of his power, failing to see how Megatron used that power. He asks Alpha Trion to reconstruct Ariel. He admits he can, and says he will send some droids out for her. Optimus confronts Megatron, who tries to blast him, but his shots reflect. When asking who Prime was, Optimus replies "Your worst nightmare." A line that really makes me smile. The Aerialbots see that the drones are going after the fuel. Deciding to stop them, they set up a few energy chargers, but are blocked from escaping. Seeing no other alternative to stopping the decepticons, Slingshot shoots the charges, as the place explodes. However, the autobots have completed the cronosphere, as it activates in time to prevent the Aerialbots from being caught in the explosion. Megatron attacks, trying to stop the Aerialbots from returning, as the Guardian robot comes in. The Autobots are pinned down, but two minutes pass, and the Aerialbots return, not only pushing the decepticons back, but turning the headless guardian robot into scrap (after taking a beating of course as Superion). The decepticons flee, as Slingshot shouts at them "You'll never get away from us Megatron, we won't stop fighting till your finished, you hear!" Giving Optimus some energy packs, Wheeljack asks what happened to them in the past, as Silverbolt answer the learned a few things about the decepticons and about Optimus prime, who he calls Orion pax. Confused, Ratchet asks what is going on, as Silverbot tells him to ask Optimus Prime. He ends by saying "Well, it all started about 9 million years ago!" As Ratchet grumbles about it being a long story. This is one of my favorite episodes, considering it shows the Aerialbots change their views on decepticons and soon realize the true intentions of the malice enemy. It's an episode not to miss.
