Stooopid Bug!!!

Sigh... Some of the other users' level had crashed to LV1 (even my account...) How Pathetic!

It seems the others are so lucky because their level was the same as before...

west13 - Let's just hope our level shall back soon...

This story is about a school of the arts that does not have a music teacher. So One of the characters goes out to try and find on. He then comes across Sunny who at frist seems annoyed at the boy. Soon Sunny ends up teaching the kids.

Personally I like the animation though it was a bit too obstract, the music however was amazing and the voice acting is very well done. This show only has about 4 episodes out at this point and so far the show isn't bad. I think that if you enjoy music and seeing how it can influence kids then this is a must see. In my opion if you need something to watch, but nothing else seems to interesting give the show a try. all in all the show is very well thought out, even if it is a bit bland at times it can be surprisingly hummorous.

Horseland

Horseland is an American animated series produced by DIC Entertainment and follows the events of a group of kids who visit Horseland, a ranch for horses, and their adventures of riding, raising, and entering their horses in competitions. The series premiered on September 16, 2006 as part of CBS's new Saturday morning cartoon block, KOL Secret Slumber Party on CBS (now KEWLopolis). Concurrent with the series, the online virtual pet game the show was based on has been updated to compliment the series by launching a new "Junior version" of the game based on the show and featuring its various characters and locations.

I was rather surprised when I found out the two women who sung for Teen Titains were getting their own cartoon show as well. Granted like most folks in the U.S, I've never heard of this band since its from out of country (the closest I've ever heard of J-Pop would be the Dance Dance Revolution machines). So I found it interesting as the show premiere came close (Checking it out at my Lowes movie theater helped as well).

Premise: Basiclly just a bunch of misadventures of the band's three member trio: the title characters Ami and Yumi (which from what I read in interviews, are based off the real life duo's more shining characteristics) and their tightwad money hungry manger, Caz, as they travel the road on their concert tour.

Its a cute show really with simple premises, situations and solutions all with a dose of the girl's music thrown in. However since the format for this show is short, most of the episodes end pretty corny and doesn't really give the stories a chance to flesh out more. Not to mention that you can see most of the resolutions coming a mile away. Still the character's personalities shine through and make the show worth watching as they stumble in and out of problems.

Art wise, very nice style. The creators or Puffy must of been fans of the game Parapper or Um Jammer Lammy cause the show reminds me of those video games and the art is very reminiscent. For those that haven't played those game, the style is simple line art, very abstract and colorful. Especially for a flash cartoon (2-D animation done mostly on computer). So good job here from the folks of Renegade.

As well as the sound section. As mentioned, the tunes are of course Puffy Ami Yumi songs with some usual cartoon play back. And the voice actors (which you may recognize as the main voices from Grim Adventures and Teenage Robot) do a nice job voicing the girls while mixing in some Japanese language (mainly when the two characters express surprise, get shocked or angry) and I love the dude who does Caz voice, the only one who seems to have an accent here.

And lets not forget the opening and closing segments with the real life Ami and Yumi. Though I think this is mostly from their show in Tokyo then down here. Still its cute and they don't take to long to lead in the cartoons.

Overall, a simple cartoon kids and teens might love, the older crowd might give a glance at. Would've been better if they can flesh out the problems more and use it as an opportunity for more humor. But they do well with the time they have. I don't know if the band will hit it off down, but anything possible and I wish all the luck for Puffy AmiYumi. Keep rocking girls!

This show is quite amusing at times with its brand of both word humor and its physical humor. The show's story centers on two animals, a rabbit with the intelligence of a five year old along a serious hygiene problem, and an arrogant, disdainful dog who feels herself to be above all others, with being somewhat self centered. The two have been lost in the jungles of the Amazon due to a heinous mishap and can't seem to find a way out of it. That having been done, they try to make the most of life in the jungle, with the friendship of some of the native inhabitants. Sometimes the two try to escape the jungle and at other times, they are stuck in there for good. With some dirty humor and a fair mix of more sophisticated humor, the show is definitely worth a watch on an afternoon and is good for all ages.

Actually, not that terribly bad.

I was one of the people who thought this show would absolutely, completely suck and destroy the characters I loved as a kid (the original Looney Tunes). Having watched the first season, I think they only had two major problems.

1: They insisted on linking it to the Looney Tunes.
2: They let those god-awful "Extreme" versions of the characters see the light of day. Fortunately, they fixed them after the public screamed bloody murder.

You cannot watch this show with the original Looney Tunes firmly in mind and enjoy it for what it is. Or, for that matter, at all.

What they've got now is a reasonably good action cartoon, far better than most of the tripe that Kids WB has been putting on air in the past few years. Is it true to the Looney Tunes, and something that'll appeal to hard-core fans trying to see their old favorites in a new form? Heck no, that's why I listed Mistake #1. But if you watch it (at least after the first two episodes) without the "this is what they say the Looney Tunes should be" baggage involved, it's actually a pretty good show, and deserves a shot.
