This episode is certainly not as good as the previous one, but that was going to be difficult to live up to anyway! Still a pretty good episode though, and the sting operation with Kim disguising herself as Saunder's daughter was better than I expected it to be. I actually enjoyed it unlike her stupid storylines in season 2. Now they've got Jane Saunders they will probably use her as leverage, not just for information on Saunder's whereabouts.
Oh, and why were there students in a library at half past 7 in the morning?? How unrealistic! I also can't believe that the reason why Jack got kim the job at CTU was because he wanted her to be safe! Teri wasn't safe there =| But Jack's intensity was done really well in this episode so I give that a thumbs up.
It was good to see Prescott back, even though he was a prat. I loved the moment when Palmer had to tell him that he was forced to order the death of Chappelle, but the look on Prescott's face was like, "Hmm... sounds like a good time to try and get him out again."
Quote of the hour! Jack Bauer: "You have no idea how far I'm willing to go to acquire your cooperation."

My god. By the end of the episode, everyone in the room was gobsmacked by what they had just watched. This episode had such a huge effect on me that I even dreamed about it that night... It was the last 5 minutes that did it, and that silent clock combined with the train whistle at the end was so...haunting... I was shaking throughout the whole scene, can you believe that? And for that reason, this episode gets a perfect ten out of ten, something I've only given to two other episodes.
I felt incredibly sorry for Ryan, the way his death was dragged out from the beginning until the end of the episode was just simply superb. They have developed his character so well over the three seasons. God, I just hated him so much!! But in this episode I was so attached to him, it was unbelievable. I truly hoped that there would be something that would save Ryan at the last minute. But no =[[ I'll never forgive Jack for making his death so painful for him. I wish that they'd included the extra scene when Jack was crying in the chopper in the next episode too, it would have shown that he wasn't so bloody heartless.
There were many highlights throughout this episode involving Chappelle:
*Chappelle's reaction to Saunder's wanting him dead.
*Chappelle's reaction to Saunders being 'found'. God, I felt so sorry for him then. He was so happy as well =[
*Chase being a prat to Chappelle >=[ Damn him!!
*When Chappelle said his legs were shaking.
*When Chappelle said he had no friends.
Highlights in the Chandler Plaza Hotel were:
*The touching conversation between Tony and Michelle.
*When the pensioners walked up to get their suicide pills--that was just heartbreaking.
*When the hotel manager got the virus. That was soo sad I actually cried, he helped out so much. I hate Michelle for not letting him talk to his wife!!

This is just toooo good! But, come on Tony, at least tell Michelle you love her. She is becoming my favourite character now, simply because she is taking control of the situation so well. Everyone else is panicking and is like "omg omg we're all gonna die", but Michelle totally keeps her cool. The conversation between her and Gael was absolutely touching, I can't deny that I didn't shed a tear.
The reason why the Palmer/Saunders storyline is so great is because the writers can literally have Palmer do anything because millions of people will die if he doesn't. The situation with the 'sky is falling' was really really interesting. And I don't know why, but when Palmer said it in that press conference, the expression on Saunder's face really creeped me out! It seemed a bit off for him to get Palmer to trigger that attack. I actually don't believe it had anything to do with the helicopter at all. I think he was just making Palmer jump through hoops, it was a sort of psychological game.
..Poor Chappelle, I've noticed how he has become a little nicer lately by not following by the book; he's even let Tony have the suicide pills. I'm suprised to see that Chappelle is for the chop - now that's two of the main cast if Michelle dies too.
Quote of the hour! Ryan Chappelle: "It's against every regulation in the book." Tony Almeida: "Yep." Ryan Chappelle "Do it."

Oh my, the Chandler Plaza Hotel arc is truly the climax of season 3. I didn't mind the storyline in Mexico, but this just blows that away!! It's as great as season 1 and 2 now, thank god!! Unfortunately, Jack did absolutely nothing in this episode, but it didn't need him anyway.
There were several highlights of the episode for me:
*When Tony found out Michelle was in the hotel, "Are you inside!?!?"
*The moment we realised that Gael was dead meat, poor Gael =[!
*When Alvers begs Michelle to kill him when the symptoms start.
*When the man eavesdrops on Gael and freaks out.
*When the guests in the hotel start bleeding from the nose.
*And finally, when Michelle is forced to kill someone.
Everything involving the hotel in this episode was just........ perfect.
I'm quite surprised at Palmer for lying to the police for Sherry? That's not the President Palmer we've come to respect! But now he finally gets dragged into the main storyline, and is now under the control of the main villian, eek!! I've got no idea he is going to demand from Palmer, but I think it's going to be some kind of massive twist that nobody will be expecting.
Quote of the hour! Steven Saunders: "You are no longer in control of your country. And if you do not use the full power to execute my wishes, the virus will be released."

Just as I was thinking her character wasn't doing that much, Michelle comes out of nowhere and totally kicks ass! I never knew she had that in her!! But... but... the virus is out in the hotel! :o
What a cliffhanger! and Gyle has had a full blast of it!! Michelle is also in the hotel, could she be infected?? =[ Wow, that was an absolutely fantastic ending, this season just keeps getting better and better. It wasn't quite as fast paced as some of the other episodes. It actually started off quite slow with all that crap about whether or not Nina's murder was justified, but it certainly built momentum towards the end. And if I was that hotel manager, as soon as they said the virus might be in there, I'd have been gone out them doors, lol.
Ha ha, and I felt the pain when Chase cut Amador's fingers off. =| That interrogation was pretty good, but I wonder who this man Jack knows is supposed to be, is it the guy who was with Amador before? Those scenes with Amador, Alvers and that man were quite good but there is a massive difference between them and Salazars, isn't there? and I don't get why they'd want to release a virus to kill innocent people. I guess we'll find out more in the next episode...
Sherry's phone conversation with the cop was really funny, especially her pretend reaction when he told her Alan Miliken was dead. I'm loving this storyline a lot, I wonder if Palmer will be her alibi though? =/
