- Keith: Okay. Maybe I can use your help around the office. A bit.
Veronica: I'm sorry. Come again? You're never going to tell me what happened to prompt this, are you..
Keith: Nope. Now, I'm just talking about a little help with research, filing, the phones---
Veronica: I do give good phone.
Keith: It's just a couple days a week. And you're keeping your job at the Hut.
Veronica: Of course, I'll be needing a raise. edit » - Veronica: Wallace, if you're getting all that Jackie-love with two dollars in your pocket, imagine what you'd get with, say, two hundred edit »
- Jackie: You really are a basketball star, aren't you, I mean I'm not just smacking the ass of some Dungeons and Dragons geek, right? edit »

Wallace: Yep.
Veronica: He do the AM-donut-fake-out run? edit » - Alicia: Do you have a spare gun that I could borrow?
Keith: That depends. Who do you intend to shoot? edit »
- Logan: My day is complete. Veronica Mars has accused me of evil! (twirls invisible villain moustache)
Common in early silent motion pictures, this gesture is often used by the villain, twisting his long mustache into sharp points as he laughed or plotted his evil plan. The gesture originates during the time when mustache wax was used to achieve the popular style of twisting the ends of a mustache into a tight, "handlebar grip" shape. It was also believed that this style kept bugs out of the mustache and beard. The gesture is replicated in many movies and cartoons as well. edit » - Veronica: Are you crazy, Duncan? Leaving this out here in the open? Do you leave heroin out when Iggy Pop spends the night?
Iggy Pop is a singer who is generally credited as the Father / Grandfather of Punk. His heroin addiction was in the limelight starting in the 60's. edit » - Jackie: I may have to have a chat with Miss Pixy Stick.
Reference to the Pixy Stick candy. Created in the 1950's, this candy has flavored sugar inside a sealed, petite, slender straw. The term is often used as a slightly derogatory term for petite women. edit » - Jackie: Didn't Goldilocks say "Jump"?
Reference to the blonde heroine of the fairy tale, Goldilocks and the Three Bears. edit » - Veronica: Speaking of bling, what up with the hoops? If I rub your head do I get three wishes?
This generally refers to the fact that when you shine or rub the lamp of a genie he will appear to grant you three wishes as in Aladdin. Lamp-dwelling genies are often portrayed with little to no hair and wearing one or more hoop style earrings. More specifically though, this is a dig to Francis Capra for his starring role in the movie Kazaam (1996) which featured him as a funny-looking kid in the hood finding a genie played by Shaq. edit »
