The crew of Explorer decides to establish a base on a planet they just recently discovered. However Drule Supreme Commander Hazar has learned of this news and orders one of his squadron commanders, Captain Quark, to take the planet and all the alliance has built there by force. Quark waits for the Voltron Force to be occupied on scouting missions before commencing his attack.
