The underwater minefield footage is taken, once again, from the 1961 Voyage movie. Way to save some money, Irwin!
(edit)
Uncredited roles:
Paul Comi (Bishop), Derrik Lewis (O'Brien), Wes Liston (Officer), Frank Graham (O'Mare), Hal Needham, Mark Russell and Peter Dixon (Crew) (edit) Inconsistancy, thy name is Chip Morton. While talking to Nelson, Chip states that if the diving bell is not repaired by the time he returns to New London, he will bring it anyway and attempt a rescue by controlled descent. However, when he gets back to New London, he tells Curley and the others to hasten the repairs. Curley asks him if they are not going to go anyway, and Chip says that to do so would be suicidal. Later, of course, he changes his mind. (edit) There's a scene in the crew quarters where Harker is tentatively trying to make peace with Blake. He offers him some coffee. Camera angles have made it clear that the Seaview is in a serious tilt, yet that coffeepot perches securely on the slanting tabletop. (edit)
