Nelson: No, Mr. Premier. You've killed only to gain power. (edit) (Following the storm, when Nelson fails to grab Brynov's gun)

Brynov: Tch, tch, Admiral.
Nelson: Well, go on. Get it over with.
Brynov: I still need you to reach Seaview, Admiral.
Nelson: And when we do, you'll kill me.
Brynov: Consider the alternative.
Nelson: With this sun, we, we can only last a few days anyway.
Brynov: Then with luck, perhaps you will have the pleasure of watching me die. (Nelson chuckles weakly) You'd enjoy that, wouldn't you?
Nelson: The thought of it'd keep me alive for a week. (edit) (Nelson wakes up in sickbay)

Nelson: You found us.
Crane: No, Admiral. You found us. You were at the rendezvous when we picked you up.
Nelson: I was afraid that you'd find us too soon.
Crane: Too soon?
Nelson: Before, uh, Brynov passed out. If, uh, if I hadn't gotten the gun away from him before we sighted the Seaview, he would have killed me...where is he?
Crane: He was dead. When we picked you up.
Nelson: I wi--I wish I could say I'm sorry. But I'm not. (edit)
