(Halder has informed Crane that he is a prisoner.)

Halder: Well, have you nothing to say?
Crane: To a traitor?
(Halder bristles and slaps him)
Halder: The word is patriot! You will live longer if you remember that. (edit)

Trivia

The year given for this episode is 1976. (edit)
Captain Trober slips into a room, and activates two levers below a sign marked "Emergency Flood Starboard". During the resulting chaos in the Control Room, Crane yells to Morton to blow the port tanks--and Morton yells back that he can't--they're on emergency flood. Crane then orders him to flood the starboard tanks--which are already flooded. (edit)
Uncredited role:

Ray Didsbury (Jones' voice), Ron Stein (Ron) (edit)
At the beginning, we see Apple One approaching the drone submarine. It hovers a short distance above, looking roughly ten or fifteen feet. Crane then tells Morton that they are ten fathoms above it. A fathom is a lengh of six feet, which would put them sixty feet above the drone. (edit)
If you listen carefully when Nelson is speaking with Senator Kimberly over the telephone, you can tell that Kimberly's lines are a rerun of his previous dialogue. There is reference to "acres of land on fire" which was part of his complaint when talking on the videophone and certainly has no relevance to the current hazard. (edit)

"Exactly why I watch this series"
This one is a lot of fun, with some lovely underwater shots, an exciting plot, and a marvelously flamboyant villain.
