Show Summary

A>D>D from Pitchfork TV is a series of videos documenting different bands and their music. It is analog technology (A) that is edited with digital technology (D) and presented and distributed through the internet using digital technology (D). Using a VHS camera and a simple 4-track recorder, the bands are recorded with analogy technology. Viewers will see and hear the music of bands like Times New Viking, Max Tundra, Crystal Stilts, Ariel Pink and more. They will see bands recorded in different settings like a laundromat in Queens. Viewers can watch Vivian Girls, Ponytail, Japandroids, Sonic Youth and others and hear their music. There are no fancy gimmicks, just simple recordings of the music.
