Beyond Reality - Amazing Race 14 Recap 2/15/09 11 teams arrived by Marine transport helicopters at Los Alimitos Air Base in California. Teams - Flight attendants Christie & Jodi, Siblings Tammy & Victor, Mother & son Margie & Luke, Married hicks Steve & Linda, Sisters Kisha & Jen, Dating couple Preston & Jen, Older married couple Brad & Victoria, Dad & son Mel & Mike, Dating couple Kris & Amanda, Stunt double brothers Mark & Michael, NFL cheerleaders Jaime & Cara. Teams must fly to Switzerland via Zurich or Milan then take a train to Locarno. In Locarno they must find the Church of San Antonia & get a departure time from the priest. They camped out overnight & left at either 7:15, 7:30 or 7:45 AM. They had to find Verzasca Dam from a photo & 1 team member had to bungee jump off the dam (Roadblock). Then they had to travel by train to Interlaken - Kleine Rugen Weise & transport 200lbs of cheese down a hill using ancient cheese carriers. Needless to say it was dangerous when the cheese got away from them and went rolling down the hill. Mel & Linda scooted down on their butts & discovered the drawbacks of mud enemas & Steve was the cleverest by using his rack as a sled to carry 3 at a time! After the cheese fiasco they had to take a taxi to Stechelberg & follow the sound of the yodellers to the pitstop. Margie & Luke arrived 1st (which Phil signed) & won a seven night trip to Mexico followed by Tammy & Victor, Mark & Michael, Mel & Mike, Amanda & Kris, Brad & Victoria, Jaime & Cara, Kisha & Jen, Steve & Linda, Christie & Jodi. Preston & Jennifer were eliminated. Next time - Germany - Linda gets lost in the Alps & Margie & Luke get creamed!moreless
