Show Summary

Bully is a web series of live concerts by bands. Broadcast on openfilm, Bully is an interactive process where the bands play in a studio in front of television monitors that display live messages from viewers. The bands are smaller, lesser known acts. The messages appearing on the monitors are, at times, broadcast over footage of the band, so viewers can see the live reactions of the rest of the audience, creating a virtual concert that simulates the unified feeling of a live concert. The band often reacts to the messages, laughing at the funnier ones. Some of the bands that play longer sets include: House of Fools, Kingspade, The Maine, Panima and Steel Train. By allowing the audience to speak to the band without being drowned out by the music and roar of the crowd, the concerts create a high level of interaction between the audience and band that a live concert normally cannot attain.
