Penn Says is the official podcast from magician, comedian, and writer Penn Jillette. The highly opinionated and always entertaining illusionist pulls no punches as a covers a number of different topics, ranging from atheism, music, and...bowel movements? In one of the more revealing podcasts, Jilette discusses his infamous "Nail Gun Trick." More specifically, how he changed elements of the trick so it wouldn't seem like he was lying outright to the audience. During the podcast, Penn reveals he isn't a fan of magic tricks that look too dangerous. He weighs in on the more sensational magicians such as Criss Angel and David Blaine who blur the line between what is morally responsible and irresponsible to show to members of the audience. In 2009, the show was nominated for two Webby Awards: Best Reality Show, and Best Reality/Variety Show Host. Penn Says ended its run on Sony's crackle.com during December of the same year.moreless

Sexual Intercourse: American Style was a web series created by Mitch Magee and aired on Channel 101: NY. An early hit for the web-based channel, there are seven episodes, each a few minutes long, presented like comedy sketches, plus a "season finale" special. Despite the evocative name, there is no nudity, only some crude language that some viewers may find objectionable. The series focuses on two couples: Clark (Will Hines), Beth (Eliza Skinner), Fran (Julie Klausner), and Tom (Matthieu Cornillon), although none really stand out from the others. There are also several one-time characters. The overall theme is of dark comedy, often starting with something seemingly straightforward and innocent, and then completely changing direction. For example, one episode features the four main characters covered in balloons, eager to pop them one by one to show their nakedness underneath, only to begin mourning the meaninglessness of life. Fans of Kids in the Hall and Human Giant should find this series to their liking. The series was produced by Upright Citizens Brigade.moreless

The DareDoll Dilemmas is an ongoing satirical independent web series from Dyna-Flix Productions. It revolves around the adventures of an elite group of spandex clad super heroines who, of course, fight crime. Dyna-Flix has been producing these super hero shorts since 1995. It is campy, silly, sexy, and subversive. The daredolls fight crime and bad guys, yet often lose, getting trapped by the enemy as they create new and fresh tortures for their trapped, spandex wearing women. Their main enemies are the Peeper Brothers who routinely capture the Daredolls as they patrol the abandoned magic factory. If you're a fan of the old Batman tv show or super heroines like Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Electra Woman, Dynagirl or Penelope Pitstop, you'll get a real kick out of The Daredoll Dillemmas. There are thirty three available episodes so far to be watched online or ordered on DVD straight from their official website http://www.dyna-flix.com/index.html.moreless

    Character Guide:
Cuddles: This cute little yellow bunny will make you laugh and cry as he runs along playfully, making mischief or being eaten by a crocodile.

Giggles: This shy and sweet little chipmunk will make you go "aww" with her "giggly" attitude.

Handy: This helpful carpenter beaver will give you a hand, or rather, what's left of it.Lumpy: The blue dim-witted moose, whose attempts at doing anything become a disaster warning.

Toothy: The buck-toothed beaver who tends to bite off more than he can chew.

Nutty: The screwy squirrel with a sweet tooth with sweets sticking all over himself. Sugary situations turn sour when he gets involved.

Petunia: The skunk who is as sweet as she smells (also wears an air freshener necklace)! Sniffles: The nosy, nerdy anteater who always sticks his nose into trouble.

Splendid: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It's Splendid the Flying Squirrel! This super-powered flying squirrel will do whatever a super-powered flying squirrel can to save you from danger!

Flaky: The prickly porcupine usually gets her pines in a prickle, I mean, pickle while fearing the many perils that surround her!

The Mole: This mole with a mole may be blind, but he can still see what's what's going on around him. Not really, but still manages to survive most of the time.

Disco Bear: He's not dead...yet! This break-dancing bear likes to get his groove on and the disco ball off-of him.

Russell: Avast matey's! Pirate otter spotted off the port bow! Searching for pirate booty rather than having it handed it to him.

Mime: The reindeer with actions that speak louder than words and won't shut up!

Lifty and Shifty: These thievious little raccoon brothers will swipe anything they can get their grubby little hands on. They just need to work on getting away with it.

Cro-Marmot: Literally, the first "inanimate character." This ice-encaved, prehistoric cave marmot will do "absolutely nothing" to make you laugh.

Flippy: War-torn and relieved of his military duties, this gentle bear veteran will reminisce old battles and "share" them with you personally.

Pop: The man of the house who does what he can to keep his son from danger, only to bring it to him.

Cub: Loveable, huggable, cutesy "cuddable" baby bear Cub loves to play and explore the world around him. Under the (sort of) watchful eye of Pop, he stays out of trouble and into danger. In 2008, They created a special video for Youtube to teach users the laws of Copyright. The episode is titled: "YouTube Copyright Lawsuit School".moreless

In Between Men is a web dramedy about a group of All-American guys who face a tough time fitting into two different worlds. The series, which is directed by Jennifer Gelfer, focuses on a group of four men who are hyper-masculine, yet have all come out as gay in their personal lives. The main characters include Dalton (Nick Fuller), Jacob (Max Rhyser), Benjamin (Ben Pamies) and Dane (Chase Coleman). While their actions do not raise an eyebrow in public, these five friends have a tough time adapting to certain aspects of gay culture because of their "straight-acting" demeanor. The series covers the plight of men who do not define themselves by their sexuality and who do not fit into stereotypes associated with anything other than simply being attracted to men. Based in the heart of New York City, In Between Men is full of racy storylines, awkward situations and emotional joys and pains as these men seek to define themselves in a world where they are the exception.moreless
