True Blood Webisodes are a series of mini episodes to accompany and lead up to season 3 of HBO's True Blood, based on the Sookie Stackhouse books, where Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and the other citizens of Bon Temps, Louisiana interact with vampires and other extraordinary creatures. As fans will know, Sookie is in a relationship with vampire Bill Compton, which her friends and family have mixed feelings about, particularly when other vampires who are new to the community aren't quite as charming. The appearance of one kind of inhuman creature seems to trigger the arrival of all sorts of other beings, with Sookie at the center as a result of her mind-reading abilities. The webisodes don't give away plot points, nor are they necessarily from the past or future of the show, but the vignettes offer an extra glimpse into the featured character's personality, with webisodes featuring Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), Sam (Sam Trammell), Bill (Stephen Moyer), and Jason (Ryan Kwanten).moreless

Stephen King's N is an animated web original presented by novelist Stephen King and based on his horror novella, "N." The story focuses mostly around Dr. John Bonsaint, a psychiatrist who has been deeply affected by a patient he refers to only as "N." N believes that there is a circle of stones in town that leads to reality unlike ours where a horrifying creature named Cthun lives. N tells John that Cthun is trying to break free of his reality to join ours. John diagnoses N with obsessive-compulsive disorder and puts no weight in N's ramblings. However, once N commits suicide, John begins to suffer the same symptoms his dead patient. Perhaps N wasn't so crazy after all. Stephen King's N is a series of short videos that pays homage to comic book art and graphics. Alex Maleev and colorist José Villarrubia are responsible for the art of the episodes, and actors such as Ben Shenkman offer their voices to bring "N" to life. The first episode was first available online in July of 2008, and it was produced by Scribner, Simon and Schuster Digital, CBS Mobile, and Marvel Entertainment. Although many of the author's novels and novellas have been made into films in the past, such as Tommyknockers, Thinner, Carrie, Christine, The Stand, Misery and The Shining, Stephen King's N brings his work to the Internet for the technologically minded new generation.moreless

Mrs. P Presents is a web series that serves as an online version of children's traditional storytime. The creators of the web show felt it was important for parents to have a resource to offer storytelling to their children. They made this available in an online format because many parents are too busy to transport their children to a physical storytime and may not have time to read to their children either. Mrs. P (Kathy Kinney) hosts the show, where viewers can see her magical library and chose a story that will then be read aloud by Mrs. P. The experienced story telling host commissions artists to create original artwork to accommodate each story, so the children or other viewers can appreciate the storytime experience. Viewers have many stories to choose from when visiting the show; some of the topics from the magic library include animals, happily ever after, love stories, girls, boys, adventures, crybabies and vegetables.moreless

Former NYPD Officer Jake Armstrong (Frank Krueger) once patrolled these tunnels as part of his beat. He knew of the dangerous situations that were part of the everyday life of the homeless living below the streets. When he too experienced a traumatic loss, he left his life above and set up a make-shift home among those he once policed. In the underworld, nothing is what it seems and danger lies around every corner. The series has completed season one, which includes five episodes, and work has begun on a second season. The series is also the basis for a feature film under development by Blue Dragon Entertainment.moreless
