The Atomic County is an animated cartoon based of the fictional comic strip by the O.C's Seth Cohen (played by Adam Brody). On the O.C., Seth is into all things "nerdy": indie rock, video games, skateboarding, and comics, none of which are frequently listed as the hobbies of typical Orange County youth. The Atomic County is Seth's own comic, where he makes characters based off him and his friends. He's the Ironist, whose weapons are his sharp wit and intelligent rhetoric, and the love of his life, Summer Roberts (Rachel Bilson) inspires Lil' Miss Vixen, who sports razor-sharp credit cards. His friend Ryan Atwood (Ben Mackenzie) is transformed into Kid Chino, who has fists of metallic fury, and girl next door Marissa Cooper (Mischa Barton) is Cosmolass, who wields her magic flask. There are also characters based on the other O.C. characters, like Trey, Luke, Anna, Caleb, Oliver, Johnny, Sandy, and Taylor. The Atomic County follows their adventures as they fight all the villians of Newport, like a demonic water polo player and Villian Blinding Abs with their super powers.moreless

    Stephen King's N
Stephen King's N is an animated web original presented by novelist Stephen King and based on his horror novella, "N." The story focuses mostly around Dr. John Bonsaint, a psychiatrist who has been deeply affected by a patient he refers to only as "N." N believes that there is a circle of stones in town that leads to reality unlike ours where a horrifying creature named Cthun lives. N tells John that Cthun is trying to break free of his reality to join ours. John diagnoses N with obsessive-compulsive disorder and puts no weight in N's ramblings. However, once N commits suicide, John begins to suffer the same symptoms his dead patient. Perhaps N wasn't so crazy after all. Stephen King's N is a series of short videos that pays homage to comic book art and graphics. Alex Maleev and colorist José Villarrubia are responsible for the art of the episodes, and actors such as Ben Shenkman offer their voices to bring "N" to life. The first episode was first available online in July of 2008, and it was produced by Scribner, Simon and Schuster Digital, CBS Mobile, and Marvel Entertainment. Although many of the author's novels and novellas have been made into films in the past, such as Tommyknockers, Thinner, Carrie, Christine, The Stand, Misery and The Shining, Stephen King's N brings his work to the Internet for the technologically minded new generation.moreless

JourneyQuest is the fantasy comedy web series that follows a group of dysfunctional adventurers as they go on an epic quest. Their goal is to find their way to the Sword of Fighting, and destroy it. The mythical blade is destined to topple the Wicked Kings and bring peace to the world, but doesn't really feel like it. Their quest leads them through the fantasy world of Fartherall, a land where intellectual orcs, incompetent wizards, and holy zombies are just the tip of the iceberg. The epic land of Fartherall and the creatures there provide a backdrop to a classic story of unrequited love, passion, and heroism, though not like most of the fantasy stories you've seen. With characters like Perf the terrible wizard who hates the quest, Nara the deadly but standoffish elf, the insane and loud Glorion, and The Assassin bent on killing the adventurers if they leave their quest, the cast is full of hilarious people and creatures. True Blood Webisodes are a series of mini episodes to accompany and lead up to season 3 of HBO's True Blood, based on the Sookie Stackhouse books, where Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and the other citizens of Bon Temps, Louisiana interact with vampires and other extraordinary creatures. As fans will know, Sookie is in a relationship with vampire Bill Compton, which her friends and family have mixed feelings about, particularly when other vampires who are new to the community aren't quite as charming. The appearance of one kind of inhuman creature seems to trigger the arrival of all sorts of other beings, with Sookie at the center as a result of her mind-reading abilities. The webisodes don't give away plot points, nor are they necessarily from the past or future of the show, but the vignettes offer an extra glimpse into the featured character's personality, with webisodes featuring Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), Sam (Sam Trammell), Bill (Stephen Moyer), and Jason (Ryan Kwanten).moreless
