Cinemassacre is James Rolfe's (The Angry Video Game Nerd) movie review show. Rolfe writes and produces every episode by himself. Through his style, tone, and attention to detail, it's obvious that he is, at his core, a fan. This is a regular guy who loves watching movies. Unlike The Angry Video Game Nerd, in which video games are ripped apart and ridiculed, Cinemassacre is calm, composed, and thoughtful, even when he doesn't like what's happening on the screen. The movies he reviews are not upcoming releases. Most are from the 70's and 80's, which means Rolfe is talking about the films of his childhood. It also means that he has 20+ years of opinions built up. He's going to tell you all about them, and you're going to love it. The amount of insight and comedy he is able to bring to these oft-discussed classics is staggering.moreless

Death Battle! is an action-packed web video series that presents short, animated films of two popular characters from stories past and present as they fight to the death to decide once and for all who's better at their job. For years, debates over what fictional character would come out on top in a cross-platform encounter between two much-loved warriors have raged between fanboys. Without any objective judge of the situation, these debates generally dissipate into incoherent screaming matches about the advantages of laser guns over traditional firearms, or how cunning and stealth would beat brute force any day. Now, some of these debates will be settled once and for all, as enthusiastic hosts Wizard and Boomstick analyze each warrior's weapons, armor, and skills, leading up to a final animated fight that will reveal the superior warrior. Death Battle! is a fun and exciting series that's a must-see for comic book, video game, and movie fans who want to find out if their hero really is the best in the universe.moreless

National Geographic Videos present clips of the national world with the assurance of quality carried by all National Geographic productions. National Geographic was founded over 120 years ago as a society on a mission "to increase and diffuse geographic knowledge while promoting the conservation of the world's cultural, historical, and natural resources." Shortly after the initial group of academics and wealthy patrons began meeting to discuss world travel, The National Geographic Magazine saw its first publication, and the forward-thinking society embarked on a journey to provide high-quality ecological writing and photography to the public, expanding the common knowledge of the natural world-past, present, and possible future. This journey has since led to the creation of other magazines, such as National Geographic World, later renamed National Geographic Kids. The National Geographic Channel was created in 1997 to broadcast premium programs on TV, and National Geographic Films produces original feature films and documentaries. In keeping with the society's desire to create informative productions in all forms of popular media, National Geographic established a YouTube channel, presenting short videos of the natural world.moreless

Film critic Richard Roeper reviews the newest theatrical release movies on Starz channel, a partnership that began in 2009. Roeper's career has brought him from the Chicago Sun Times to TV after he famously joined Roger Ebert on his nationally syndicated movie review show as a permanent replacement co-host for the late Gene Siskel. Ebert and Roeper's partnership lasted from 2002 until Ebert's medical issues forced him to retire in 2006. Roeper continued the show on his own through 2008 before moving on to new partnerships with Starz and ReelzChannel, noticeably abandoning the trademark thumbs up/thumbs down reviews made famous by Siskel and Ebert's program. Roeper has also embraced social media with regular updates to his twitter account, iPhone application, and personal blog, often including impromptu reviews of movies as he leaves a theater. He has even weighed in on the occasional television show such as the widely discussed series finale of Lost, coming out with a very positive A+.moreless
