Inside Call is an online sports video show featuring members of the crew from Fox NFL Sundays breaking down aspects of the NFL season. Pioneers in reporting the games themselves, Fox Sports is doling out the goodies for football junkies during the week. Seasoned coach and analyst Brian Billick calls on football experts like Howie Long, Terry Bradshaw, Jimmy Johnson and many more to cut upen and dissect the NFL completely. Created exclusively for the internet and part of FOX Sports' online programming, Lunch With Benefits, Inside Call airs Fridays right on the website. A sub-500 team making the playoffs? What coaches are on the hot seat? What conference's teams are stronger heading into the playoffs? Billick gets on the horn, and everyone sounds off on exactly these kind of issues, giving each one a thorough scrubbing. Unlike the NFL Sunday Countdown, the signature show from the Fox NFL Sundays team, Inside Call is a more intimate, unique collection of videos, as web based technology is milked to its full potential; interviews and discussions are typically conducted via webcams or conference calls on split screen. Not merely a supplement to their juggernaut of a Sunday show, Inside Call stands alone as an original program, catering to the growing online audience.moreless

Sarah Silverman and the Great Schlep is a comedic short film sketch starring comedian Sarah Silverman. In the short, she encourages young Jews to take the time to visit their Floridian grandparents so that they can speak to them about Barack Obama. Silverman released this short in 2008. It was funded by the Jewish Council for Education and Research. While the video seriously discusses how important the election is as well as the many issues at stake, it also features a great deal of humorous content. Silverman humorously compares young black men with elderly Jews and pokes fun at the names of both Obama and John McCain. She is the only actress to appear on-screen for most of the short. After the 2008 election, The New York Times credited Silverman and this short for that year's unusually high turnout of Jewish voters. The short is four minutes and twenty-two seconds in length, and contains explicit language.moreless

Road To November is a web-based video series, produced by the New York Times, and released on their official website. For this series, Times journalists Jennifer Steinhauer and Monica Almeida traveled the breadth of the continental United States, from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. Over the course of their 2,900-mile quest, mostly Steinhauer and Almeida interviewed a number of voters in hotly contested swing states like Iowa, Nebraska, and New Jersey. The series' title was a play on words, referring to the nearing election, and to the specifics of the journey, which was largely made by car, on Interstate 80. Highlights from the series include the journalists' stop in Naperville, Illinois, a highly republican area with very mixed feelings about Illinois' most famous adopted son, then presidential hopeful Barack Obama. In another notable episode, Steinhauer and Almeida stopped in Omaha to witness a massive campaign rally headed by Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. This rally made an impression on both journalists, who noted the intense, almost worshipful response of the crowd to Palin and presidential candidate John McCain.moreless
