30 Days of Night: Blood Trails is a seven-part horror miniseries developed for FEARnet.com that centers around a young addict named George (Andrew Laurich) who makes his living searching out covert information worthy enough to sell to a New Orleans-based vampire hunter, Judith. Blood Trails is set two days before the events of the movie, 30 Days of Night, and is based on a subplot originally found in the original horror graphic novel by Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith. The series starts with a blood-covered George running towards a police officer before shifting to the two days prior where Judith hands him his task, hoping it'd be the last before he left New Orleans to start a new life with his girlfriend Jenny. This task isn't an easy one with everyone involved meeting a bloody end, always just after they decoded the next line of information. To make it even harder to get out alive, there's a vampire trying to stop him from delivering the message, which is cryptic as it mentions a feeding in Barrow, Alaska starting the next night. 30 Days of Night: Blood Trails is followed by the six-part miniseries 30 Days of Night: Dust to Dust. Both of the miniseries lead to the horrific events of 30 Days of Night.moreless

    Foreign Body
Foreign Body is a web series about a group of Indian women brought to the United States in order to train them to be nurses. As the debate over health care rages in America, a group of medical professionals is using the rising cost of procedures to create a rather questionable overseas surgery outfit. They bring over a group of young, beautiful, idealistic, women from India, to manipulate and train as nurses for their clinic. Doctor Cal Morgan (Wes McGee) heads up the opportunistic and arguably shady group of doctors, but finds himself taken with one of his trainees, Veena Chandra (Pranidhi Varshney), and his attention to her may cause the entire operation to stutter. Nothing is as it seems in this thriller based on the work of renowned author Robin Cook as the women realize that they are getting the American dream, and before long, it is impossible to tell who is manipulating who. Produced by Michael Eisner, and written and directed by Douglas Cheney, Chris Hampel, Chris McCaleb, and Ryan Wise, Foreign Body is presented as the prequel to a book with the same name, set to release in 2011. And if the quality of the book in this groundbreaking experiment is as good as the group of 50 two-minute webisodes, expect people to talking about Foreign Body or some time.moreless

    Stephen King's N
Stephen King's N is an animated web original presented by novelist Stephen King and based on his horror novella, "N." The story focuses mostly around Dr. John Bonsaint, a psychiatrist who has been deeply affected by a patient he refers to only as "N." N believes that there is a circle of stones in town that leads to reality unlike ours where a horrifying creature named Cthun lives. N tells John that Cthun is trying to break free of his reality to join ours. John diagnoses N with obsessive-compulsive disorder and puts no weight in N's ramblings. However, once N commits suicide, John begins to suffer the same symptoms his dead patient. Perhaps N wasn't so crazy after all. Stephen King's N is a series of short videos that pays homage to comic book art and graphics. Alex Maleev and colorist José Villarrubia are responsible for the art of the episodes, and actors such as Ben Shenkman offer their voices to bring "N" to life. The first episode was first available online in July of 2008, and it was produced by Scribner, Simon and Schuster Digital, CBS Mobile, and Marvel Entertainment. Although many of the author's novels and novellas have been made into films in the past, such as Tommyknockers, Thinner, Carrie, Christine, The Stand, Misery and The Shining, Stephen King's N brings his work to the Internet for the technologically minded new generation.moreless

As fans will know, Sookie is in a relationship with vampire Bill Compton, which her friends and family have mixed feelings about, particularly when other vampires who are new to the community aren't quite as charming. The appearance of one kind of inhuman creature seems to trigger the arrival of all sorts of other beings, with Sookie at the center as a result of her mind-reading abilities. The webisodes don't give away plot points, nor are they necessarily from the past or future of the show, but the vignettes offer an extra glimpse into the featured character's personality, with webisodes featuring Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), Sam (Sam Trammell), Bill (Stephen Moyer), and Jason (Ryan Kwanten).moreless
