Challenge America

Show Summary

Challenge America is the Beliefnet concert to honor wounded veterans and their families. Beliefnet is the largest spiritual web sire on the internet, and is independent and not affiliated with any specific organization or movement. The goal of the site is to provide ways for people to meet their spiritual needs, whatever their beliefs are. The site was founded in 1999 by Steven Waldman and Robert Nylen. Walden thought of the idea in 1998, getting help from magazine publisher Robert Nylen. The created Beliefnet to provide devotional tools, access to spiritual teachers, thought-provoking commentary, and a supportive community to help you find your spiritual path. Beliefnet's Challenge America shows some touching stories from wounded Veterans, showing how their families and faith helped them through their difficult time in duty and at home. The stories inspire and challenge, and the series has a concert from Amy Grant, Charlie Daniels, Kix Brooks and Gretchen Wilson to provide a musical backdrop. Join in as these soldiers work to transition from wartime back to normal life, with the help of Challenge America.
