Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee

Show Summary

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld takes the two things he likes most, comedy and cars, and combines them with good coffee. Watch as Jerry calls up famous and up-and-coming comedians to invite them out for a ride in a unique car each week. Guests grab coffee and a bite to eat, walk the streets, and discuss what comedy means to them. Guests commonly talk about technique, writing material, memorable moments, how they got their start in the business, and who inspires them.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is a web-series developed by Jerry Seinfeld in partnership with the digital network Crackle. Each episode runs approximately 10-15 minutes and is released online. Filming takes place in two locales: Los Angeles and within the New York state general area where Jerry commonly divides his time.

In 2013, the show was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in the Short-Format Nonfiction Program category.

This show is comedians having conversations, just being funny. I have always liked Seinfeld (which basically was a show about nothing) but I believe one of the greater shows of it's time. And now there's this! I laugh at the title too, because it's funny in a very specific way that makes you say " Ok, is that really what the show is about?" And yes, it is. Give it a watch!moreless
