Two of the new segements during the Results show:
Judges' Encore:
Drew and Cheryl's Paso Doble to Thriller.
Judges' Personal Favorites of Week Four:
* Carrie-Ann: Lisa/Louis
*Len: Jerry/Anna
*Bruno: Drew/Cheryl
When Drew and Cheryl went to dance their paso again, this time the lead singer missed a starting cue and he or another male singer's voice cracked or got very hoarse on a note about halfway into the song.
Tom Bergeron: The level of competition was incredible...for the most part.
Jerry: (describing his and Anna's foxtrot and getting a 24) For the first time, I really had a great time. It was just like scoring a touchdown for me.
Tia: Foxes trot at a very strange pace.
P. Miller: We know they're out to get us. It's cool.
Lisa: (in response to Samantha's question about her strong dance the previous night) Halfway through, some higher power came in and started dancing through me.
Tom: I thought George was supposed to stay 100 feet away from Stacy at all times.
George: (in response to Samantha, teasingly) Well, I didn't even know where I was. I thought I was still at the Sunrise Senior Citizens' Home, during a big party. Someone said 'You're dancing,' so I started dancing.
Tom: So here's the update: Last night, Lisa Rinna channelled a higher power, and tonight, Master P channelled Rich Little.
Carrie-Ann: It's hard to give the critiques that we do because we care about them and we want them to do well. We don't want to beat them up; that's not our job.
Carrie-Ann: We want to lift them up, but the way to lift people up and to make them better, is to be honest with them about what we see.
Len: See, at the end of the day, dancing is like brussel sprouts- some people love a brussel sprout and some people hate brussel sprouts. It's just taste.
Tom:Tia and Maks and P. and Ashly- you are the couples who recieved the lowest overall total when we combine the judges' scores and the viewer votes. The fourth couple to be knocked out of this competition is...going to be revealedrightafterthis!
Samantha: (to P., just after elimination) I gotta say, I know that I've been tough on you, I know I have, but I'm sorry to see you go.
P.: I think we done had so much controversy on this show, that we probably gonna go on Desperate Housewives.
Tom: Yeah, there ya go; it's the next port of call on ABC after this.
Tom: (to P) Can I tell you that's the longest you've gone without a plug?
Tia Carrere & Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Master P & Ashly DelGrosso are in the bottom two this week.
Anna Trebunskaya and Jonathan Roberts danced a Cha Cha to the live performance of "Sway" by The Pussycat Dolls.
Celebrity rapper Master P and professional dance partner Ashley DelGrosso were knocked out this week.
Rodrigo Guzman and Yesenia Adame danced a Salsa to "Cha Cha" by Chelo. They are 2005 2nd place winners in the Caberet division of the Salsa World Championship.
Tom: ...and Master P channelled Rich Little--refers to the legendary impersonator; Tom was goofing on P.'s attempt to impersonate Al Pacino's Tony Montana character from the later movie version of Scarface.
Tom: I gotta tell you, The Odd Couple's been a big hit on Broadway...--references the Neil Simon comedy about mismatched roommates. It is currently in a revival, but has been revived many times, made into a film, and a television series twice.
P.: ...gonna go on Desperate Housewives--refers to a salacious nighttime soap on the same network.
Also, the second name-drop of that particular hit show on this show, in as many weeks.
Tom: Can he do Cagney?--refers to P's impersonation of Al Pacino's Scarface; James Cagney played gangsters in many of his movies. Ironically, he also danced in a couple of movies as well.
