Episode Summary

Disposable Film Fest 2012 OutTakes Coverage: Traveling Crew
Join the OutTakes Youth Documentary Crew as they follow the story and document DFF2012. Soundtrack by My First Earthquake OutTakes is a crew of innovative youth from San Francisco who have collaborated with the DFF 2012 Artist in Residence to capture the best, funniest, coolest of the Disposable Film Fest and showcase it online for an international audience of young, and not so young people! The DFF OutTakes Youth Documentary Crew have produced a series for web that includes interviews, vox pops and animations produced with and inspired by media and film producers at DFF 2012. We hope to screen live and webcast the series for an inter-generational audience in May 2012 to further promote accessibility for international youth and to support sustained involvement in the festival in the future by young producers from around the world. The concept for OutTakes emerged through the new Disposable Film Festival Artist in Residency Programme. This years DFF Artist in Residence is Siobhán Clancy, an Irish artist with over a decade of experience working in collaborative contexts co-supported by The Arts Council of Ireland. Keep up to date with the artist’s progress through regular postings on www.siobhanclancy.com/art/dff_blogmoreless
