Show Summary

Drunken Cooking, Vegetarian Style is a web original that focuses on how to make quick and easy vegetarian recipes. Hosts Lauren Murrell and Jon Palmer join their friend and camera-man, Brian Cunningham, in their own kitchen to make some of their favorite foods while enjoying alcoholic beverages. The three foodies are occasionally joined by some of their other friends and generally have a good time while they prepare the meal of the day. Although the recipes are all vegetarian, each one uses common ingredients that most people already have at home. Some recipes include Quesadillas, Meatless Meat Loaf, Rhubarb Pie, Blueberry Ice Cream Sauce, and an Open-Faced Melt. In addition to the recipes, episodes include the antics and jokes these friends share while they drink and hang out together. Episodes are posted on various sites online, including their own website, which also features a blog written by the three creators and a written ingredient list and instructions for each of the recipes they feature on the show.

  • Fun show!

I really like this show a lot. It's refreshing to see a show that's vegetarian themed, since so many cooking shows really focus on meat based foods. The hosts, Lauren, Jon & Brian, just seem like they are having so much fun while making these episodes that it's impossible not to get sucked into the excitement! I always wish I could open my own beer & jump right in with them! Super fun show, easy to make recipes, & their directions are super easy to follow. Even though the recipes are meatless, for the most part they require super common ingredients that you probably already own! There's no excuse not to check this show out!moreless
