Identifying people is a fundamental skill and special areas of the brain are hard wired for recognising faces. Non-subjective artificial recognition of individuals has become increasingly important. The recent advent of computerization for facial recognition can be used to identify a person on an image. More accurate identification can be obtained by analysis of the iris but this requires co-operation of the individual.
