Factual Error: Pulling up the Italian driving licences as shown in this episode is not possible. European laws on data protection do not allow foreign access to such databases. Further, even an Interpol request for data would take at least a week or two before returning results. Secondly, even Interpol would not have direct access to the driving licence database, forcing even Interpol to make a formal request for access to the data. In the end, as both women were not searched for by international arrest warrant, there would have been no way for the Five-0 team to access the data. Also, it should be noted that the driving licences shown in this episode suggest they are used as some sort of identification means in Italy, but driving licences are not used as identification means in most European countries, so foreign police would not be granted access to these data unless traffic violations were involved.
