In this five, short episode series, Rohde gives a first-hand account of the kidnapping itself, walks through the scope and conditions of his captivity and discusses the ideology behind the Jihadist movement. Through his own words, Rohde takes you through the worst moments of his captivity and explains how he gleaned knowledge through the study of his captors. Discover what led to his escape and the conditions, knowledge and feelings that brought it to life. In this short web series, Rohde gives an inside look at life in the clutches of the Taliban that is only possible through living such an experience.
