Hi Shredability

Show Summary

Hi Shredability, created by VBS (Vice Broadcasting System) is a web show about surfers and people involved in the world of surfing. Hosted by a rotating cast of VBS crew members, Hi Shredability spends time with a variety of surfers, from top female pros to low-key surfing legends. The show doesn't just focus on surfers. In some episodes, the crew help surfboard shapers Grain Surfboards of Southern Maine create wooden surfboards. Hi Shredability also checks in with Mike Black, a surfing high school math teacher. Mike talks about the experience of creating psychedelic surf videos, and the eventual aftermath of being connected with such a controversial production. In another episode, Kassia Meador, a top female surfer, takes the Hi Shredability crew on a bike ride through Brooklyn. Of course, all the videos contain plenty of shots of top surfers in action in all kinds of breaks, from hidden local spots to the legendary North Shore.
