Interview Project

Interview Project is a web original series from David Lynch, his son Austin Lynch, and their friend Jason S. The three men took a seventy day road trip across the United States of America to interview the interesting people they met along the way. Although everyone they interviewed was initially a stranger, by the end of the video, one begins to feel as if they know each person intimately. It is a close look at typical Americans, in all economic and social classes. The answers are honest and thought-provoking, revealing a side of humanity perhaps never seen before. David Lynch, Austin, and Jason interviewed 121 people along their travels, and each interview is as unique and entertaining as the last. Each video is approximately four to five minutes in length, and they were released one by one every three days beginning in June of 2009 and ending in June of 2010. David Lynch introduces each interview himself. Interview Project was nominated for a Webby award in 2010.
